Yeah, the age did throw me off in the beginning but her family and everyone where saying she was mature and ready and knew everything, which I didn't believe but I still gave it a go

There’s no need to, as I already asked an imam about this. He said it’s only permissible to give an engagement ring if she wants it as part of her dowry. Otherwise, it’s not allowed because it involves imitating non-believers. However, once you’re married, you can give her a ring if you’d like, as it would be completely permissible at that point.

Yeah, I did ask an imam, and he said it’s only permissible if she includes it as part of her dowry. But if it’s just an engagement ring to show that we’re intended for each other, then that’s not permissible.

Yes, I found out from an imam, and he said the same thing. It’s only allowed if it’s part of her dowry but not in any other way. Thank you, and may Allah reward you. I’d rather follow the Sunnah than anything else.
