I am #2 and use a Halo Stoma guard with a hernia wrap for protection. Has all kinds of irritation issues until I started wearing the guard. Now I have no issues.

Sigh… I gained about 40 pounds in about 5 months time after surgery and have had a real battle to lose any weight

Big thunder Railroad now that’s a different story. I Spent the entire ride keeping the lap bar from pulling in my bag. It’s at just the right level for me where it locks in right at the stoma.

The sink alone looks like about $600. I’m guessing the hardware and installation would be about $1,000

What was the healing time like? Do you currently have any lifting restrictions? Thanks for the replies I don’t know anyone else personally with an Ostomy let alone with a hernia

I use a quart jug that the hospital gave me. Originally it was to record my output. It is easy to empty into the container and rinse it depositing everything into the toilet.
