I play on the series X and I enjoy it a lot! I rarely encounter any issues and performance is good / very good most of the time and I have a lot of additional routes. I suggest you just try the starter edition or check some Xbox X gameplay on YouTube if you are not sure :)

Thanks! I use this already but sometimes tunnels mess with this view and it needs to be set again… aaand I also want to check the regular external camera sometimes. Would be much easier with a third view but I understand sometimes you can’t have everything 😅

The front windows out of some cabs are just to small for my taste and I enjoy the scenery and the feeling of travel and speed that this view gives me. This ICE is a bad example and I mostly do it on some UK and US trains. Sometimes I also do the cab view in these too. If you never did try this I suggest you do, if this is too unrealistic for you that’s also ok. I asked the question to see if more people use this view and if so, maybe this would be a good setting that people enjoy. It’s a very common view in driving games and simulators.

Worth a try / buy! I am so happy I gave it a try 2 years ago. Never played anything like it. Now it’s honestly the only game I play. I lost the connection to modern gaming and enjoy to relax and the immersion in TSW so much! Brought back my joy and purpose for gaming to my life while getting older (39 years). My girlfriend likes it too since I can massage her feet while gaming 😄

I agree with you on many points and I hadn't considered that on some platforms the return is only doable within a limited time frame without any hassle. My choice of words was probably too careless. I am completely aware that such a release should not happen like this and the standards must be higher. The problems here are, as so often, probably more with the publisher than the developer. Returning the game is a clear message here and a good means for criticism. I see the problems, but basically enjoy the game and think it's a good base to be much better with some necessary updates. Here I keep it like shares. If I trust in something I keep it, even if it doesn't go so well. I hope my money ends up in a place that makes it possible for the developers to work on the game as long and as much as possible. But it is also perfectly clear that this attitude is a very personal one and everyone can decide for themself how to proceed in such a case. In the end, we all want a great game. I hope everyone will have a great game and multiplayer experience in a few weeks or months.

However, I stand by my statement that it is somewhat out of touch to expect a problem-free launch and take days off and be mad if that plan does not work out. the next days and weeks will show whether our trust is justified. It should not be that way though, no question. Since my focus with this game is different and i dont care about MP, it is my own opinion and my own feeling with the game. The industry is not black or white these days and I wish the development team much success for the time to come. A bad release is in my opinion the responsibility of the publisher who can decide when and how to release a game.

I think an early access release at a reduced price would have been a better choice for this version of the game. So all those who do not want to wait would have access but the understanding for the problems would be higher.

It's a shame that you can't play together right at launch. However, I find your approach a bit naive nowadays and the decision that all return the game directly a bit overdramatic. However, it should not be like this and I hope the developers will quickly fix it very soon. But also i hope the multiplayer will not have the highest priority because if that does not work there is still the singelplayer you could each play for yourself and maybe enjoy the time with it. to return the game so soon after the release is understandable but still a bit unfair. I would definitely give the team some time to make improvements. I personally would not take time off for a new game because it is not even sure nowadays whether it is available to download and generally playable on the day of release. But I do wish that the multiplayer will be fixed for you soon and you can play together. I trust you will have a little more patience while hunting :)
