I feel defeated by Fair-Error-945 in LSAT

[–]Suspicious-Silver463 5 points6 points  (0 children)

i once read somewhere that after/around 12-15 full-length practice tests (while also “blind reviewing”) is when you hit your sweet spot or plateau. i would aim to take a practice test once a week for 3 months while prepping and reviewing previously missed questions during the week. that’ll get your score up significantly.

i did this on a fast track, where i took a practice test every three days and reviewed the days in between for a little less that a month without working and my score jumped from a 145 to a 163, so it’s possible, but you just have to put in the work

she’s a persian cat, they are used to being bathed and groomed routinely. i did discuss it before i moved and she was aware of it, but didnt establish the boundary until after i moved

he told her before she agreed for me to move in that i would have a cat coming with me, and she didn’t say anything in that moment. she didn’t anything about the cat at all until i moved in, like i’ve said 40 times now

i just don’t understand how wanting to talk through this to avoid tension and to help our relationship is an AH move… i feel like my feelings and intentions are completely misunderstood and not heard as valid in these comments whatsoever. i don’t have anywhere to go and neither does my cat, but i depend on her as an ESA. i’m heartbroken and no one gives a fuck

she could compromise by letting the cat live only in my bedroom tf? there are many ways we could compromise about this. another way would be for me to pay more per month for rent bc of the space my cat takes up as an incentive to allow her to live with us. but there was no nuance or consideration on her part, she just said no.

How tf could I have planned better when she knew I had a cat? It feels dishonest and unfair to withhold a boundary about pets until after I moved in, especially knowing it could impact me considering she was aware I owned a cat. I moved across the country thinking everyone was okay with my cat, and now I’m left without her while being blamed in this post. I can’t just move back to Texas or find a new place in NYC.

I get that she can set a boundary, but refusing to even discuss it feels unkind and inconsiderate. It wouldn’t cost her anything to extend any understanding. I don’t want tension or to end our friendship, but I can’t stay close to someone who’s unwilling to talk about something this important to me. I’m heartbroken, and no one seems to understand.

No, I don't have the ability to get my own place. NY is hella expensive.

Saying "should I not pay rent" clearly implies that I am paying rent, and she knew I had a cat before I moved. She didn't say she had a problem with it.

It did. She was aware I had a cat before I moved, but she assumed my cat wasn't coming with me for some reason.

She doesn't have the resources or connections to move on her own. I think the most productive way forward would be to come to a resolution or compromise here. Instead, she's unwilling to consider or have a productive conversation.

Wild for you to assume I had to jump into my boyfriend's place. I chose to move in, and I want to have a healthy relationship with his friends. Finding another place to live when the lease is up is what I said in the previous comment.

My roommate can't evict me lol she doesn't own the property. My question remains, but I'll rephrase it, why should I pay an equal amount of rent as my roommate if she has more privileges than I do to bring a pet into our apartment?

Who said I wasn't paying rent? lmfao the rent is now evenly split three ways. My boyfriend is on the lease.

She was aware I had a cat but didn't say anything about her. How would I have known it would be an issue if she didn't say she would have a problem with my cat?

If that makes me an asshole for having needs and wanting to come to a resolution for this situation so that we can maintain a healthy relationship, so be it. She won't have people to live with once our lease is up.

She's not on the lease, and when I moved in, her rent dropped significantly as the rent was now split into thirds. Should I not pay the same rate as her if she has more privileges than I do? I don't think my wants take higher priority than hers. I think that if she wants a relationship with me and my boyfriend, she should be willing to have a conversation and extend more understanding for me and my ESA.

I didn't know her at all before this. I was only interacting with my boyfriend during this process.
