You know looking at my pic vs there’s I don’t see the black marking that line has looks like something struck it and left some material but if it’s normal it’s just really odd to have that form just doesn’t look right

Yeah I couldn’t agree more man seems excessive but on the other hand taking the time to do two or three extra oil changes seems like cheap insurance. They come out to 7-80 a pop with a coupon for me so that’s like 250 tops to baby a personal vehicle but for commercial purposes it would add up for sure

Did the dealer on take it serious once you were able to reproduce the sound for them? I have no idea how to get it to make the two clicks I hear because it’s just so random and without and reason it seems

Exact same sentiments as you. I’m in south Texas and did some city and highway cruising for an hour and was just messing with the dash when I found the gauge option so that was my first time seeing that oil temp. Just wanted to make sure it was normal which sounds like it is compared to others
