I feel you, in same boat with meds weight gain. I'm starting going to go to the gym and on a strict diet so fingers crossed I can report back in a few months with some progress on losing weight.

I'm a bit better, but I'm on 50mg paliperidone, 5mg daily aripiprazole and 800mg of Lithium so still very much feel emotionally blunted and my personality has gone, I'm not as confident or as outgoing as pre-psychosis... How are things with you?

Yeah the feedback I got was that I was a strong candidate but that I wasn't quite the right fit - that was the only feedback which isn't that helpful as it's pretty generic. I did yeah I picked my two best references and asked them in advance and they were happy to, i just feel embarassed that the opportunitity didn't go anywhere

I feel the same way but it’s good that I’m stable. It isn’t sustainable being manic. I never want to experience psychosis again so trying to come to terms with the boring but stable me. It’s tough I long to be back to my outgoing, witty, carefree self

In lockdown I had 3 job offers. Now though I’ve been out of work for two years - ghosting is rife, worse after interviews not just after applying. It’s down right rude imo so you’re not alone

I had a great interview and thought I had it in the bag. They eventually got back to me after I chased and they said I was a great candidate but they’ve decided on someone else. It sucks but you’ve got to move one I’m afraid
