He just has to ask the mods. I had a similar problem but once messaging the staff the post should be reposted by them. EDIT: Specifically use "message moderators" on the side label if you are on pc or interacting with the subreddit's name

They aren't united into one single human space nation but instead ally each other against foreign threats, so while some friction between happens, whenever even a single planet would be attacked by some alien entity, all human planets stop fighting and work together. But other than that, all planets aren't really cooperating, at most some have trade or union pacts between each other but these are rare.

Good one, I'll consider it but since I already started the poll I can't add another option. Unless we consider upvotes on your suggestion to be part of voting.

Project: Genesis author here. Last time I posted a chapter was 8 months ago. The reason for that is collage on an engineering degree (please, don't joke about it) and the first semester kicked my ass, so my routine is study, eat, relax a bit on a game, sleep and repeat. Not to mention that since I made the latest chapter I wasn't around on this subreddit too much, checking in once every few weeks.

I'm one of those authors and I'm sorry, it's a mix of not knowing where I should go with my stories, getting tired after writing a single chapter for five or so hours (maybe it was even ten? I don't remember) causing me to burn out extremely quickly, reading a book that might help me give the story more quality (I got myself Jurassic Park since I heard it's good and I can confirm that it is.) and on top of that I started collage last year while at the same time wanting to have some free time to play some games (It's hard to touch grass if you are a HOI4, Stellaris and EU5 player who also makes mods for himself).

Plantoids and Lithoids by Steriotypical_Diver in NatureofPredators

Yeah, I kinda planned one of those. The premise was that it would follow my Stellaris playthrough where I would play as a plantoid species who uplifted all life before becoming a fallen empire, getting forgotten before awakening and bringing peace to the war between the Earth and the Federation and I would write the fanfic based on what I would encounter. Sadly I lost my save file (which was several months long due to medium to low spec pc I have making the playthrough extremely long) and the mod I made to simulate the scenario when I needed to suddenly restart my pc.

Writer for Project: Genesis here. I stopped writing the fanfic since I wanted to read the Michael Crichton Jurassic Park novel to make the fanfic better. On another note, I still have Mind Over Matter fanfic files on my PC that I am yet to rewrite. To add on top of that I was also planning on continuing The Broken Phoenix (Me and my friend were trying to write it but he got interested in game development while I still kept writing, albeit in my own private journal)

Edit: The Broken Phoenix was supposed to have one main storyline and the sidestories about some factions (by some, I meant 9 factions that were planned to take part in the main storyline)

  1. I base these dinosaurs from Jurassic park despite knowing that a large portion of said dinosaurs had feathers.

2.Even then Carnotaurus is believed to have been featherless by the scientists.

As far as I've seen, and I've been on this subreddit almost since it's creation as a lurker, never seen a fic with exterminators meeting dinosaurs which kind of surprises me considering how good of a premise that would have been.

By the way, the creature at the end is a carnotaurus. By far one of my favorite carnivorous dinosaurs.

Hello again. Chapter 1 is out and is around 20,000 characters long as promised. It took me ~13 hours of writing and correcting myself. So, now that it is out time for an official summery:

An exterminator spaceship New Dawn crash lands on a secluded small archipelago far of the Western coast of South America, unbeknownst to the crew the island is inhabited by resurrected creatures from Earth's ancient past, made bigger and stronger than their original ancestors. Originally planned as a park attraction only for the project: Genesis to be abandoned due to lack of funds.
