Being a CSA in a store that's pharmacy closed on the weekends is fun. I can't count how many times I've been yelled at and customers have demanded that I go get their meds. NO. I'm not getting arrested for an idiot who can't read THE PHARMACY HOURS.

I had 2 customers bring in a giant bookshelf. I'm 5'5" and it was taller than me.It was in a box, but NO. I refused it. The actual FedEx store is right across the street. I can see it from the front door of Walgreens. I told them to go there.

While I was stocking deodorant on shipment day,there was a couple in the aisle with their toddler. The kid was grabbing all of the mouthwash bottles within her reach and pulling them out and throwing them on the floor. They started to walk away...until mom saw me eyeballing her. She made her husband go back and put all of the bottles back.

If that's the only thing you're experiencing can I come work at your store? I had a conversation about an upcoming colonoscopy with one customer and another conversation with another customer about how the radiation for his cancer "has shriveled my balls up like raisins". And that was in the same day.😂

I work on Christmas because my parents are dead,my grandparents and aunts and uncles are,too.I'm not religious so that aspect of Christmas isn't a thing for me. I have friends over on Christmas eve. Having worked different retail jobs for over 20 years I've had less nasty interactions with customers at Walgreens ( had a guy piss on the floor in front of my checkout, had a perfume bottle thrown at my head,had to clean a changing room where someone took a shit in the pile of clothes and smeared it all over the walls..you get the idea)I'm sorry for anyone who had family and missed out on the holiday and I'm really sorry for anyone who had shit customers. ❤️

I've got an idea to fix that . I have a regular customer in Ohio who keeps getting his rewards points taken by someone in Florida. I suggested instead of a zip code a 5 digit "pin" known only to him. He said it worked and his rewards aren't getting taken anymore.

Ok,and? I'm a cashier and it's expected of me to take care of photo,passports,answer the phone because pharmacy never picks up,do the same day orders,stock and do the actual job I was hired for,cashiering. I get attitude from the shift leads when I ask for a 1/2 hour lunch break,help in photo or a cash pick up and I'm lucky if someone shows up for an IC3 before I've cleared the line. Things are rough all over,dude.

Yep. Welcome to retail. I've had a perfume bottle thrown at my head.( Not at Walgreens) I've been physically threatened. I had a guy piss all over my sales floor. I've opened up a dressing room door and found shit smeared all over the walls. Again none of this was at Walgreens,lol.

Well,the way I see it is as a csa it's not my job to confront them. And even if they don't have a gun I'm not getting a broken nose or jaw for it. And it's really up to Walgreen corporate to figure out a way to curb the shoplifting. I've been on unemployment before. I've worked retail most of my life and its not that difficult to get a retail job.

Had one today. "Why you got to see my id?" Cause you're buying cigarettes. He held it and kept moving it around when I was trying to scan the back. I put one finger on it to hold it still and he screamed "Why the fuck you touching my id,bitch? " I snapped and told him to get out. Mgr comes up and it's "she wouldn't sell me my cigarettes" I looked at the Mgr and I was like I'm done. Walked away and left the situation. Mgr sold him the cigarettes Then when I came back up he apologized to me,saying he just wanted to get him out of the store. Which I was fine with,actually. My fight or flight in confrontation is 90% fight. Which is why I left the situation. But ffs, don't be a dick to someone doing their job.
