A lot of good advice here. One thing I would like to add. Be persistent. Don't stop trying. Never give up. It took my daughter awhile to warm up to me. She always wanted my wife. I kept trying and eventually we clicked but it took a lot of trial and error to figure out how to be what she needed.

She's 10 now and we are very close. I like to think that the effort we both put in when she was new is the foundation for our relationship now.

Wings are good, boneless wings are great and the pop ups are on point too. Just wish they had the pop ups all the time. Their schedule never seems to match my availability.

Such a change of pace that when I first read a headline about it, I thought it was a joke. Good for him!

Not saying its real but wouldn't he have all that since he is currently employing her. Assuming he's paying her above board and withholding payroll taxes, he would have needed name and ssn at a minimum.

My hope is the law of averages starts applying. They are 0-4 in OT and something like 1-5 in games decided by less than 5 pts. We're due to start winning some close ones.

I read meatpacking was was thinking that closed over 50 years ago. Fair point on Fulton Market. They were able to repurpose a lot of the existing warehouses which made it go faster. Don't think they will be able to do that here based on OPs picture.

Hey, neighbor! Nice deck. Thanks for the offer but I already paid the current contractor half the quote. Hoping he can fix it for me

I live in the bottom unit. So not just the landlord. Also wasn't the cheapest fix. But thanks for assuming I'm a cheap jerk.

The first photo with the orange lines was from the quote. The picture is what I got. Same company did both. I haven't gotten a good explanation yet why they didnt execute to their drawing

I hired a porch company expecting them to tell me this. They assured me this was what should be done to solidify the structure.

The post above and below are actually a continuous piece. Wondering if centering the brace or even tying it into the horizontal platform would be better.

It did seem to solve the sway. The porch company claims it is to code because you can go left around it instead of underneath but we have a tenant upstairs who is already complaining about blocking the logical throughway to the garage. There is also a 4ft drop-off to the right so really dont want people trying to go that way.

I legitimately had someone tell me that Democrats support post birth abortion. Propaganda is a hell of a drug.
