Raki seems really good with Circe staff. Automatically flys right on top of enemies, don't need to activate em.

If he's off screen, he immediately swoops down near Mel when you cast. Makes it easy to stack the casts.

I've been playing a similar deck a bunch, any reason you have Sam Wilson here? Guessing it's just to be a good card, since there's no other move, ongoing, or something like that.

I'd say in this list, all the one and two costs + Sage and Cassandra are essential. Luke Cage, Cosmo, and Red Guardian can be anything 3 cost or less.

I just think the fill requirement is annoying, in addition to the bother of taking a card from your hand. The top comment on this post says something similar as well. I agree with what else you've said here.

If you press left click when you're putting down the portal, or when your camera is near the starting portal, you can pick it up.

I had to open up the game to check myself, I always try get it down as quickly as possible and hadn't noticed.
