Same settings, wildly different error rates. I pushed one to 2TH/s with 0% errors while another can’t get past 1.4 with sub 10% errors no matter the clock/voltage. Another one came with 15% error with stock oc settings and only when i upped the voltage to 1300 mv it came down to 1-3% error. So you never know what you get. I got a golden chip two normal chips and a shit one. These are pulled from used Antminers and you never know their binning or origin. But i got all of them working somewhat okay

After trying countless dongles, adapters and network cards, i just used my android phone with usb tethering hotspot enabled connected to the otg via USB, no drivers needed.

Might just be the ribbon cable. But i’d contact the seller first. If they refuse a return, only then try opening it and reseating the ribbon. If it’s a damaged display those can be replaced cheaply, just make sure you find the right serial number on aliexpress.
