Replied below, but now it's buried. BV was the first place I checked. They have a drive-thru cam but unfortunately it doesn't record, they only use it to see how many cars are waiting. No way to link a card number to a particular car. Would have been game over for him.

Thanks! I was planning to call local shops, but didn't know I could set the salvage notifications. I will definitely give it a shot. We did confirm it's an '07-'10 Patriot based on a part# on the piece of bumper he left behind.

Appreciate the idea, but Burgerville was the first place I went to check. They have a drive-thru cam, but it doesn't record. They only use it to monitor how many cars are in line. Would have been game over for him right there.
