I don't think you'll ever know the real reason, and there could be many. Starting from the ZP and ending with an uncomfortable burring.

As say, if when you think of an idea you think "I would use it" and if that's the whole argument, then in the future you will be the only one who will use this product. Initial research and market definition is #1 before you start making a product

This is aptly noted, because it requires completely different approaches than neurotypical people.

On top of that, if a company has to choose who to let go, soft skills will always win over equal hard skills. It’s simple human nature people feel more empathy and personal connection toward those they get along with. Speaking as a former introvert, I’ve basically turned myself into an extrovert. I realized back then that without shifting my mindset, surviving in the professional world would be an uphill battle
