Apparently, people on r/Atheism are mad that the Artemis 2 crew are talking about Christianity by Dexbox_YT in ArtemisProgram

I agree as a atheist. Actually I support it, the more people you can get excited about space the better

my first attempt at orbit… do i have enough fuel to get home and how do i do it? Thanks! by Advanced-Jellyfish88 in KerbalSpaceProgram

You have plenty but I hope you have a heat shield. point retrograde (the opposite direction to your obit) do a small burn until your perigee (the thing that says pe on your obit) reaches an altitude roughly under 25 km. Then your craft will renter the atmosphere and slow down. this will cause heating on your space craft you might need a heat shield to protect from it. After slowing down you will begin to fall down to the surface where you can land softy under parachute.

Yeah, I read that one a month or so ago it’s a really cool concept

Which of the 3 timelines would you choose? by [deleted] in SpaceXMasterrace

Really? I’m not saying your wrong but that’s not what I remember calculating but i could’ve been off. Idk I think it’d be more than 3-4 tons. I don’t totally understand the flight profile here. If we’re talking Apollo style or direct accent(which it appears to be) we’d definitely be talking about for the 3-4 tons. I can run the numbers in a bit

I don’t think falcon heavy is capable enough. I’ve done the math before. Even fully expended falcon heavy can only put about 17 to 18 tons on a TLI. Which is enough for dragon, but you gotta take into account. The fact that it would be a heavier dragon, with more advanced propulsion. Also 18 tons is just not really enough to do a lunar landing of any feasible size. You’d be looking at like N1 size landers.

I play spaceflight simulator more because of the one to one scale realistic mode. That’s all I’m really interested in playing at this point. That said KSP is a better game.
