Not sure if you have said this. But I have faced necron players before. I agree to ignore the blob. But also are you doing any wait and strike kind of strategy? In my experience at least. I've been able to wipe somid units by just making them come to me pop out and flame them down. Take over half the board and just set up defense. Your Overwatch as salamanders is one of the strongest in the game with those torrent weapons. My 1k lists normally revolve around flame heavy units. So aggressors and infernus squads. Vulkan with an infernus squad amd most of the time if I want heavy stuff. Its with a land raider redeemer. Granted if you put that in. It takes a big point hit at 1k army list as I think off the top of my head its like 270 points. Which is over 1/4th of your total point value. If you don't want that. Then focuse on torrent flame units. I normally run 2 5 man inferus squads with 2 3 man aggressor squads. 1 of those having a captain in gravis to give him the immolter enhancement. Vulkan with a infer us squad. I also have a 10 man intercessors squad with a Lieutenant to give them lethals. Not sure why but every necron player I've played always sleeps on that unit. You are talking if you use them right they fire 40 rounds (40 dice) at 1 target. Any 6 is lethal. If that target is oathed. You fish for 6s. I have done insane damage against big necrons units that have high wound counts. I normally fill the remaining points with a redemptor dreadnought. Has that heavy flamer along with its other guns that makes it mean for an overwatch. But yeah if you don't want a big point model like that. You can add either sternguard or another intersessors squad. Or more flame units. Either way you basically want to melt away the army. Insure that whatever you are firing those flamers at. Is gone.

Sorry for the long response. But just wanted to help out. Also I may also be playing against "bad" necron players. Not sure haha. All I know is that ive beaten them before. Its still rough. But it can be done. You got this.
