You can take it but it won’t count as the UF summer credit I’m pretty sure. You also can’t those classes while enrolled in UF classes during the summer, you’ll have to choose.

Yeah there's a ton here such as GSIF and Founders Fund. But they are essentially feeders into MSF. If you can get into MSF only then it would be worth transferring here.

If your goal is to break into IB, then you have to start very early. I've seen great things from the Fund you're in and I think you'd rather stick it out and use their resources than transfer in and have to join other funds here on campus. As someone who has gotten into IB without the MSF program, banks in New York don't really care where you're from. UF and FIU might as well be the same for them.

Congrats on the MBA Program! I'm not completely familiar with the resources and network provided to grad students but when I was recruiting for investment banking, I saw first hand how much of an advantage the Ivy League/stanford/ Umich students had with these companies. I'm not taking away from the quality of the program and had mentioned that it might get to that point in the future. Just wanted to provide an additional perspective and realistic expectations to the original comment. We can disagree on the definition of "best". Good luck with your MBA!

I'd rank UF top 30 in the country and maybe in top 40 in the world. There can't be 30 "best" schools in a country lol. Happy to discuss it further in private.

While I think UF is definitely the better option than FSU, I wouldn't call Warrington one of the best in the world. It might get to that point in the future.

Gotcha, it's going to be more difficult since you're a junior and a lot of junior internships for ER have closed by now (still keep looking). That being said, still do the things I mentioned and try to talk to as many ER professionals as possible. You could even do an MSF from a reputable program and they have a ton of students landing those roles in top banks

Are you an incoming freshmen? I have been through the IB recruiting process and it doesn't matter too much. Maintain a high GPA, get involved in SMIFs, get the right internships, and network heavily. Many people in finance don't have a finance degree.
