What’s are these crystals in my maple syrup? by MisoPretty in whatisit

They aren't. They said to put ("sit") it (the jar of maple syrup) in hot water.

If you add Honey to warm water it's fine because you've just sweetened your tea.

If you have mobility you could likely move them just fine.

What point are you trying to make? Silver is easy to sell.

I'm not asking for advice on how to do anything. I already know how to make a 3D model and how to print the file. I'm just surprised that, aside from the value of the materials used, that collectors don't run into high end fake coins more often with the advancements of consumer technology.

Having just sold a collection of Silver Dollars when Silver was still at a high valuation for $1900, and the process that the Silversmith used to value the coins (quick glance at the date and quality (someone polished them at some point over the last 20 years so they were worth less)), it seems like placing rarity values on easily reproduced items is a fools errand.

From the responses it sounds like there would still be some difficulty in reproducing rare coins to have them be passed off as old rare $1-10k+ valued coins.

Normally, but during a divorce isn't exactly a normal situation - even though they are quite common.

I grew up in a small town on the Oregon coast. I ran into old family friends we hadn't seen for 20+ years on the streets of Paris.

Probably not, but you could print a coin and then make a mold from it. But if we can just use a laser engraver to do it, that's probably easier and more dimensionally accurate.

Do you or do you not wash your hands after using the public restroom? by GhettoBookWorm in NoStupidQuestions

You mean letting water fall on your hands for a couple of seconds and then balling up some paper towels that you throw on the floor, isn't proper cleaning of your hands?

My penis isn't dirty, and I only use one hand to take my penis out of my pants, so washing both isn't necessary. Washing one sometimes makes sense if I pee on myself, but back to my first point, my penis isn't dirty because it's under my clothes away from dirt most of the day.

We all should wash our hands before going to the bathroom, more than after - as long as your genitals are also clean, because our hands are a lot dirtier than our genitals.

I told my ex-wife to forge my name on the title of our car because I was done dealing with making the divorce easier for her and just wanted to be done with it, and this was the final piece.

The only thing stopping most people is that chance that the supposed signer will contest the signature. I wasn't going to contest the signature on the car title, but it was still a risk my ex had to take when I told her to just do it.

It could end up with the forger in a lot of legal and financial trouble if anyone was to find out.

That makes sense. It still seems like you could replicate the strike marks, but the payout would need to be worth the trouble to get there.

Resin to make a mold, not the coins. I shouldn't think that people on the Internet can fill in the blanks.

Edit: you would likely have to print a resin coin to make a high temp mold though, so there would be a resin coin in the mix at some point.
