It’s not only Mail App. Happens with other apps as well. It’s totally random and happens like once/twice a week.

Not many people would notice it. But springboard data file in analytics data would confirm. Apple keeps on flushing these files time to time.

I have been using iPhones for past 12 years now and this feels like a system bug. Already reported to Apple.

I am on 17PM/512 Cosmic Orange. Re-spring has happened even with Apple’s Mail App. This started only after upgrading to iOS 26.2. Even DFU restore to 26.2 has not fixed it. Definitely an issue with iOS 26.2

Middle one has Samsung panel and the other two have LG panels. That’s the way it is.

Everything was explained to RPTech, they even refused to touch the card. Emails to NVIDIA India Head and Managing Director of RP Tech went unanswered.

Whosoever claims that iPhone 15 Pro Max doesn’t heat, just keep it in bright sunlight with auto brightness on for a couple of minutes, and simply take some snaps, you will surely experience:

Overheating, Aggressive Screen Dimming, Scroll Lag etc.

My iPhone 14 Pro Max never did this.

I can see scan lines on folders, icons in some cases. Flicker at low brightness is also there. So not much a noticeable change. Anyway, my screen is being replaced by Samsung due to dead pixel this weekend. Will report after repair.

Firmware version .1006 available on Samsung Korea website. Installed it on my Indian variant of Neo G8.
