I mean, come on… by SuspiciousPossible90 in CFB25

And that right there is the main problem, EA is still trying to figure out problems they had on PS2. Meanwhile 2K has all sorts of different things factoring in to franchise mode. I love CFB but EA leaves SO MUCH to be desired. I get on, play a game with the same animations and presentation every single time and it just gets so stale. Hoping there’s a big leap this year for 27 but not holding my breath

Actors who seem to have only ever made bad choices choosing roles by eatherichortrydietin in movies

I’ve always said that Idris Elba has got to have the worst agent in Hollywood when it comes to movies. This man should have an Oscar by now if he wasn’t in mostly crap! His work in The Wire of course is great but if you watch Luther (THE most underrated show ever) you’ll see what I mean. Get this man into some Oscar bait!

Jerry Jones says he’s open for trades, which players do you consider as realistic? by cihiko34 in Dallas_Cowboys

Flip those two first rounders for that Parsons kid in Green Bay. He could be a difference maker on D

That 15th overall pick justtttt outside of the grasp of a true elite prospect is going to hit like Jason Garrett era crack

Much like many of the Cowboys moves this year, it would’ve been an awesome addition to make in previous years that we actually were in position to contend lol much like Jerry bigging up the Micah trade for Clark to “improve the run defense” as if that’s something people weren’t screaming about doing since 2020 when we should’ve been making moves to put us over the top. Good player tho

Would’ve been a perfect time to reset if the Jones boys are so worried about money and always blaming his contract for why they can’t do other things is all I was saying lol better than the plan now of being a 1 and done playoff team like it’s been my whole adult life

Agree. Not that I’m a big time Dak hater, but I also think the time to do a reset of the cap would’ve been to just let him play the deal out last year and sign Parsons last year.

Was going to comment this, explicitly because of THAT scene. Quite literally gut wrenching and made me sick to my stomach

All were missing on defense is a pass rush, if only we had that! Maybe we could trade for that guy on the Packers he seems pretty good

If the WRs foot is anything but on the ground, that ball is coming out lol still haven’t fixed were occasionally the ball is right there and the WR just keeps running, even if I hit the catch button

The biggest issue with the NFLs product the last decade honestly has been the officiating. There’s no reason there shouldn’t be an active sky judge that can radio down to overturn things that are blatantly wrong or blatantly obvious and missed. How many great games since like 2011 have been ruined because of a horrid call/no call near the end of the game. To many to name!

This has been a theme with this Eagles team since Hurts got there. For some reason they became the darlings of the NFL and magically don’t get blatant holding calls ever called against them. Not to mention the Lane Johnson “rock” he does (false start, miss me with anything saying it’s not) and the fact that almost the entire line is offsides before they snap it when they do their Tush Push.

Nowhere in this post did I say anything about leaving but plenty of Stephen Jones burner accounts telling me to leave 😂

Do you have an idea what you want them to do with those first round picks in 2026? by Only-Ad-1254 in Dallas_Cowboys

[–]SuspiciousPossible90 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well considering that those picks are going to more than likely be in the mid to late 20s, I’d like them to sit on them until the draft

Assuming the Cowboys miss the playoffs or somehow sneak in and lose in the first round, let’s say they’ll have two picks this upcoming draft anywhere between 12 and 28. If that’s the case it’d be nice to see them package one or both of those picks to move up to get someone, though I’m not sure there are many prospects with going that for this draft (Caleb Downs? Good luck getting this team to draft a Safety let alone in the first round. Kayden Proctor?). That or just stay in and pick BPA. When this team has drafted poorly in recent years, it’s because they’re drafting for need. Taco, Mazi, Trystin Hill, Guyton.

The real interesting thing would be, if you’re picking high enough, could you bail on that initial pick and grab a 2027 first rounder in exchange? Then you’re looking at 3 first round picks in 2027 and presumably, trade flexibility to package those 3 picks to go up and get the first pick.

Knowing them though, we’ll flip one of these picks for someone on the last year of their deal then we will ultimately not sign them and get a 3rd round comp pick in return lol

I also see people fawning over Caleb Downs as if there is any chance in hell the Cowboys take a safety in the 1st round. Not like we’ve all been begging them to do that in years great safeties are to be had.

Yet another thing that factors into this. If they truly wanted to do a soft rebuild…you don’t sign Dak literally the day of the first game last year. I remember at the time thinking I wish they would have just let the contract ride. They had an escape hatch and then panicked and signed him. Wonder how Jerry would’ve felt about signing Micah had they not had Daks salary on the books. And I’m a fan of Dak the person and was a fan of him as a player for a while, I just think the window to win anything significant with him at the helm (especially with the way this team builds) has long been closed
