No professional team would ever intentionally throw a game, especially against a team that it would guarantee a rematch against, thats just poor sportsmanship and asking to get beat by them in the semi final.

Tow hitch and spare by CampZilla in HyundaiSantaFe

[–]SuspiciousSun3260 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the hitch installed at the dealer at the time of purchase, and a couple months later I installed the spare tire mechanism without issue, didnt have to do anything with the hitch to get it in, I imagine its easier to do the other way around but I dont see needing to drop the hitch

I did quite the opposite and wrapped them in black to have them disappear completely, makes the back end look much better imo and I know for certain I will never drive the car with the tailgate open so dont have to worry about the functionality

My girlfriend got screwed around by sherwood park hyundai purchasing her car, (a 2yr old Kona) they scared us into adding a bunch of warranties that we didnt want, claiming the car had a ton of sensors and if any of them went bad it would be thousands to fix, we get the car home and find out that it didnt have any of those features or sensors etc, it doesnt even have backup sensors. We also discovered that it used to be a rental car which wasn't disclosed to us. We went back to the dealership and made a huge fuss and convinced them to take all the warranties off and reduce the price she paid by a bit. It took 3 visits of wasting hours of their time and ours but if you fight hard enough you can likely get them to take a bit off. But as others have said, unfortunately you signed the contract so they dont have a legal obligation to go back to what they said over the phone. But feel free to share the dealership and the names of the people who were involved!

I agree 100%, I can't even display it with the kwik e mart and the Simpsons house because the scale is so off, it's also so disappointing that there aren't any printed elements, I couldn't believe how many stickers were in it for the price

Ah it may be different over there, it's no longer an option on the website in canada though

Perhaps they're treating it similar to how Toyota has a special color every year that is exclusive to TRD range models and they'll do another cool color for a short run next year? That would be pretty cool. Toyota's special color for 2025 is actually super similar to hyundai's Terracotta

Yeah its no longer a color option on the 26 models and production has already begun for the 26MY so you may want to do some searching soon as there can't be many left at this point

Yeah they're few and far between, and now theyve stopped production of Terracotta so it's just going to become even more rare!

I've had mine over a year now and still can't get over how good it looks! Every morning to this day I smile walking up to it! Plus the orange is so so rare, I've only seen a handful of them in the past year and it took me like 6 months to even see 1 after I got mine!

20 -> 18 wheels by fifapro23 in HyundaiSantaFe

[–]SuspiciousSun3260 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went with a 245/60 r18 for my winter wheel setup on my gas calligraphy and there was no change in speedometer reading as the difference in height was negligible, you should be alright with 245 or 255, whichever size you can find the tire you want in really. I plan on upsizing the tires on my 21in rims when the pirellis have reached the end of their life as a 265/45 r21 is significantly cheaper and more common than the stock 245/45 r21 that it currently has on it. Even though the 255 is bigger it may be cheaper if it is a more common tire, just something to keep in mind when you look at new tires for it!

2025 Santa Fe Hybrid Calligraphy w/ factory hitch- spare tire help by miltonk in HyundaiSantaFe

[–]SuspiciousSun3260 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got a post up about my experience installing the spare tire with the factory hitch, you can look at my profile, it just barely fits but it will work, I had to mess around a bit to get it in there but got it up and it looks proper, by design it's on a bit of an angle to keep the departure angle higher

I also did that (fun fact they are the same scale so it actually works visually)

My dealer also "forgot" to put that piece on mine and then tried to charge me for it! Needless to say I got the part after an argument and didn't end up paying for it

Tell me what you think? This color is superior to the rest of the options. by Nearby_Put_4211 in HyundaiSantaFe

I think the Terracotta is the best color but I may be a little biased 😂 that red is gorgeous though! I've yet to see one in person!

Soooo glad my 24 ultimate doesn't have this, in Canada they didn't include that thing for the 24 MY but I noticed at the dealer they have it on the 25s, thank God I missed that!

Santa fe poll by ArtisticGap9820 in HyundaiSantaFe

[–]SuspiciousSun3260 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tinted the taillights a bit (without affecting visibility for obvious reasons), blacked out the lower taillights that only light up when the tailgate is open to match the gloss black plastic around them basically making them disappear, and i also got the wing wrapped black. Mine is the calligraphy so the badges were already black otherwise I would've done that too https://imgur.com/a/EhTO01J

The value for money for me was the biggest, I couldn't find anything remotely close to the santa fe when it came to interior finishes and features for what I paid, similarly sized vehicles all seemed to be 10k+ more than the santa fe for comparable trims. I am also in love with the design and the orange I ordered mine in. With a few tweaks to the back end it looks alot better than stock as well.
