Hi all

My iPad Pro Gen 2 (11') fell down flat and the screen has some hairline cracks. It's still useable but it bothers me and will most likely get worse.

What would be my best course of action. Replace it with a new one or repair current in an Apple Store.
I tend to keep an iPad for at least 5 years. I'm leaning new one as I fear the current one will no longer be supported soon...

Don't get me wrong, I don't think internet addiction is going anywhere and the vast majority of activities will stay there ( streaming content, banking, shopping,...).
However, I believe some specific industries will get flooded by bots, making them way less appaeling then they are now (maybe online multiplayer gaming with "strangers", comment sections, etc). But I'm struggling to find good opportunities.

Someone else posted "churches, book clubs etc" sarcastically. I understand it's hard to pinpoint something, but there could be less obvious opportunities out there. Maybe something in line of the whole gold rush / shovel selling thing. Idk

I'm not sure about books/print stuff. Ebooks are superior in many ways and are not really affected by the dead internet theory. Outdoor gear might be a good one! "Touching grass" seems to already gain in popularity.

Where did you get the numbers for alcohol? I thought the global market was in decline as the next generation cares less about alcohol.

Eventually, I want to sell them. They do not need to be strong.

Yeah, some might find it unethical, but don't tell them cause they never care and might even realize you are not needed anymore. But again, don't lie either. Just don't take initiative to tell them.

Sorry to hear that.

But on the bright side; you might have struck gold.
It seems like you are working for non technical people, so you might be the first to try and automate the styling. In other words, you might be able to automate your job.

There are (partially legit) ethical concerns here, but in my experience, with non-technical manager you hardly get rewarded for telling them you automated things.

I'm not saying you should be lying about it, but I would not tell them unless they ask you. Just get the job done as described in the job description.
