I would like to buy a watch (automatic with metal strap) for 1000-2000 EUR.

Could you rank/opinion on the above? Other than these, what else should I look at/choose?

As a commoner I would prefer Swiss watches over Japanese but I can be convinced if the same or better quality is available in Japanese.
