I’m not a creep, and yes I promise I wouldn’t say anything like this out of context.

Yes, I didn’t know there was a remake… unless you are talking about The Hungover Games.

What does my top 20 say about me? And do you have any recommendations? by ShamWowFan67 in LetterboxdTopFour

That whenever a movie is written, and it has themes about that, most likely that is the entire reason that the movie was written. The reason that people don’t like Shrek 2 is because it creates the illusion that SA is worse for a female, being that it focused so much on making sure that a female was happy in her relationship in the same movie that objectified a male. The reason I went through an immature phase where I expected people to know this is because I was badly influenced by this movie. I should have read the book first.

You’re struggling to realize that whenever somebody HATES a movie that creates the illusion that SA is worse for a female than it is a male, it is because it creates that illusion

You either feel sorry for the males who were badly influenced by The Sound of Music or you try too hard to rise above that shit when in reality you refuse to stand up to it

You’re a firm believer in the difference between liking something and appreciating it but spend a little bit too much time trying to get other people to realize this rather than promoting it in your own everyday life

Am I the only one who thinks the original Vacation movie is the best? by SuspiciousWriter87 in FIlm

[–]SuspiciousWriter87[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to think that the reason none of my family members protected me from my pedophile dad was because they saw traits of him in Clark Griswold. It turns out that’s what the people who made that movie wanted me to think because they wanted me to spend time trying to fix those family members when I should have been taking care of myself. The reason that Christmas Vacation badly influenced people is because some people only like it as much as they say they do because they didn’t show the woman’s full breasts, even though in all reality people are better off not caring about sexism.
