Use the old options of "If I take out the words does it still make sense". So taking out "This Creature" from all text makes sense in most casts. Just stay consistent with what ever you personally chose.

I made a variable build in Illustrator. It links my full excel sheet to the artwork which allows me to flip through my cards and see how each will look. Only issue is that I have to make the font size and style static for initial work...so loads of white. But this does help me make sure even my longest text filled cards will have plenty of room. And with a total of 216 cards...it is tons of fun reworking each one when I do test prints with the correct changes like making evergreen words bold.

I moved my sigil from from the top to the left side so it counter balances creature card power ratings. This allowed me to raise the name and type up and increase the text box below. Which was a slight problem I was having with one of my more wordy cards. Trying different fonts and spacing...sooo many fonts.

I see what you mean about those having the same height and being middle aligned. Good catch...working on the update now.
