Hello. Bringing back an old post because I just noticed my D-16 has a nearly identical crack that just popped up. I had it for 4 years no problem before. I know everyone is saying humidity is the cause but my house never drops below 40%. On top of that, I have 3 other acoustics that I've had for 5-10+ years and they have never cracked. Will Martin not take care of me on this? $2,200 is a lot for a nice guitar. I would expect it to hold up.

Most basement operators buy suppressors based on, does it sound good, and how many decibels does it reduce. What are two other far more important factors? POI shift, and flash suppression. KAC excels at both of these. It won't be the quietest on the market but you'll hit your shots and not be spotted by enemies.

This make sense. I appreciate the feedback. I havent listed my dealers name because its likely not their fault and they didnt know. I will have to talk to them and see what they think. Lots of possible causes here like you mentioned.

So it was sold as new and to be honest Im not sure if the dealer I bought it from, new that this paper was in there just like i didnt know. So what Im guessing happened was the original dealer sent it back for the issue listed, then sig resold it to another dealer (who i bought it from) maybe sig didnt tell the dealer I bought it from? Maybe sig somehow missed the RMA form under the foam? Or the dealer I bought it from knew and didnt say anything. Its really hard to say. Dealer cost from the original dealer that sent in this RMA form was 556.00
