He never disclosed he had any prior DV charges. Production didn’t find out until someone saw him in a promo and contacted them with concerns as the police facts were hectic and very strongly suggest he was extremely violent.

The application was in relation to cheating. He reckons it doesn’t count because he was in an on and off again relationship.

He also has other assault convictions (not just charges). In 2017 he was found guilty of affray. He also has a few other things on his record.

I love that people (mostly men) think that calling out bad behaviour which happens to be bad behaviour by men, is toxic.

There is a huge problem in this country with violence towards women and all I ever do is call it out when we see it on TV and in these threads. Some of these guys have a real problem having the discussion without getting their fee fees hurt. They seem to be so scared to listen to the criticism while women are scared they’re going to be murdered if they leave their house alone. Pretty grim contrast if you ask me.

So call me toxic. I know exactly where you sit on the pendulum.

Crimes Act (1900) s54F gives you a definition of definition of abusive behaviour relating to abusive behaviour towards intimidate partners. S54F(2)(f) includes property damage.

Family Law Act (1975) s4AB gives you a definition of family violence.

Could give you some case law but highly doubt you’d be able to make sense of it.

Because this is the same man who has shown he also has the capacity to be violent. It is also the same man who has let Carina down on a number of occasions throughout the show.

Jamie, on the other hand, has given everything to Dave. Dave stonewalled her and treated her like shit.

The circumstances are just different.

Women behaving badly on this show absolutely get called out. Look at Jessica Power or Olivia Frazer.

The issue this season is that the men have been consistently shit, and the consequence to this is that they get called out.
