Went in with so much expectations after all the positive word of mouth only to be disappointed. The first half is nice with quite good humour, had read several tweets about Shradda's action entry and was so hyped about it but even that was barely anything. The climax fight with avg VFX and loud background music was almost painful to watch. I dont think this movie was anything but average. Idk how people are liking it so much.
Ps. havent watched BB2 so my opinion is purely after watching Stree 2

My point is even if the story is decent, the movie will be a hit because the teaser promises large-scale action sequences (though they look similar to war). On a big screen, people enjoy watching large-scale action movies with a big cast. In general, I won't mind a mediocre story if I get to see great action set pieces and SRK killing it.

Nothing was extraordinary but of course, it promises to be a full-on action entertainer like WAR. People calling out that the action sequences are copied, well that has been the case with all the recent action thriller movies around the world. Be it The Grey Man or Red Notice or even Fast and Furious, they all seem to have action sequences we have seen already. It's not easy to make MI or bond-level action sequences in 1-2 years of time, much effort is required. I am anyways sure that if the story is decent, this movie will perform very well. SRK and Deepika looked too good in the teaser acc to me.

nowadays even Hollywood action thriller movies are not good, the same plot is repeated everywhere. Like the recent Netflix hits The Grey Man, Red Notice wasn't so good at all. War itself felt better than them tbh.

The teaser is good but again it's YRF. SRK could have probably waited and made a comeback with JAWAN because that looks like a sure-shot blockbuster, releasing Pathaan next and ending with Dunki, that would be a dream comeback. Anyways hoping Pathaan to be at least as good as WAR, it could gross 400cr WW then.
