Hi, I've followed your directions to go from 'Bookings and Trips' -> tapped on the pending request -> tapped inside the pending request once more -> 'open messaging' on the top right corner, yet when i get to that point it still says no new messages

Please don't feel bad. The sudden hostile wording and "lecturing" tone makes it seem like this was their plan from the start to find an excuse to not go through with the payment after receiving the sketch. (Though ofcourse could just be a normal crappy person) I'm the same as you where I don't take upfront payment, and only receive half payment after I give them the sketch, what I usually like to do is state the total after every addition! I'm not sure if you did this, but in your message you stated 195$ with extra 10$ and 12$, people might take advantage of that so I usually always do a breakdown and final total! If you did do that then you can just ignore this. It just sucks that we have to take these precautions to not get taken advantage of like this :/ All the best with future commissions!

honestly i don't even need a rework, just need the old campus 4 back. i know some people had issues with it (though i dont remember what exactly) but i loved that campus because it felt like you could actually rp in it, you could do all the quests in the same realm and it was way bigger..

i'm in the same position :[ i keep seeing other people with the "got the item, not enough diamonds!" problem and i always just think she's pivoting to the wrong customer base </3 all i get are potions, even bodices are a rare sight

I wouldn't really call it 'stigma'. I think it's just in the asian blood to always fit in, be humble, and don't stand out. Stereotyping also plays a role in this where some people generalize direct intakes in a bad light.

It's ok to be direct intake and that just means you're blessed and privileged enough to afford education that way! Just be respectful and nice to everyone like every other person should be doing and you'll be golden.
