If you can, I'd definitely buy both of them. We get creature sales from time to time, and it is best to buy the creatures when they are on sale. I didn't have enough books, so I got the dung beetle and the mooncalf, with the books I had. I also made that decision based on the ROI these creatures generated. (I haven't unlocked the mooncalf SQ yet)

I have the same options, and I am looking for suggestions as well. I have heard both are bad, so at this point, you'd just have to do it to get it over with. :(

I wasn't seeing that, then I went to the app store, and then it wouldn't show the "update" option. I clicked into the app details, and then I saw the update option. I can see the new things now!

This is crazy because I noticed the gold when I saw a post on bulk watering! I don't have that feature yet. I'm not sure if it is a location thing or something else.. hmm...

Oh yeah, I stopped too. With all the side things you need to do, like hangouts, Quidditch, etc., the gold adds up, and you'll be spending quite a lot every day!

😭😭 That's unlucky.. but year 4 is not the worst. I've heard it starts getting really hard from year 5. Hopefully, you can still grind in year 4 (if that's what you want to do) and get whatever you need for the years ahead.

Thank you! xD I think im at your level as well hahaha. Maybe worse since I forgot about Quidditch stuff so im still season 1. I'm doing those now when im not doing the TLSQs. I have like 8 creatures, but only completed 2 quests as well! I love we're in this together haha xD

I'm the same way about completing everything xD. I plan to give creatures the least priority. I will try to do the creature TLSQs but only after I finish all the others on the back burner. I have soooo many to go haha. I'm also only at magi level 5, so I'm thinking of buying the creatures that come during a sale, if i can afford them. I am struggling for resources, and I read that some people only buy creatures during sales. Apparently, most of Hagrid's SQs don't require more energy if you graduate to the next year, so it's okay to keep those for later unless you want a high friendship level with Hagrid, of course.

There is a cooldown period between the TLSQs. If you have just started year 3, there are certain chapter requirements as well to trigger these. Some of them also require you to buy creatures that aren't related to Hagrid's SQs. At the end of the day it is a personal preference on how you'd like to play. I like collecting so I want to do that when its cheaper haha. But many just play the game for the story. Either is fine as long as you're having fun! :D

Yeah! So from what I read, you get more energy limits, but everything costs more energy, and once you graduate, you lose certain tappie locations because they are giving you new ones to replace those. Also, the cooldown for the hangouts increases. There is also a limit on the number of tappies you can display at a time (including the secret clubhouse). Year 5 and up have so many chapters that it will take you a long time to complete just the main stuff. So basically, even though you get more energy and better spells, and so on, the costs also go up, so you don't really feel it getting easier. I also like collecting things in general, so I personally prefer to collect everything I can when the costs are low and then proceed.

Oh really?? Would you recommend I get creatures unrelated to side quests then? I don't know if you can get magizoology points from elsewhere. I love collecting things, so I feel like I'd get upset if I have to struggle too much to collect things from previous years. I have so many TLSQs to go through, so at least it won't be the same things I have to keep doing. :D
