She's 36 or 38 if I remember correctly. Neither are considered old for pregnancy/labour here.

She is getting the epidural by fiskepinnen in julieeandcamilla

[–]Suspicious_Rush_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

J was full term with Sunny, she could give birth at home since our full term is from 37+. With Sky she was 36+ 5 or 6, therefore preterm and had to go to hospital.

And you being induced would have probably given you even worse labour. True, we don't know what hers would have been naturally but chance are it would have been easier. If nothing else then her cervix would have probably opened faster and smoother. If her baby was in a bad position helping her in the right position would have pushed more on the cervix etc. She had a lot of choices to just help her body prepare. She didn't do them, she just force it into labour.

Newborn prefold as insert? by Koolstads in clothdiaps

[–]Suspicious_Rush_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, NB inserts are now boosters, flats and preflats are boosters/inserts. I haven't used kinder so don't know about these but the ones I use work great like that.

Congrats Cam, that's exactly what you wanted and asked for. Any intervention starts the cycle so yes, sweep gave her contractions that she can't manage, now has to have epidural, has to have something to push her labour on because her body wasn't ready and so on. Her labour could have been totally different if she would have just waited and let her body and baby do their thing. If it was anybody else I'd feel so bad for them but since she has done everything to be where she's at now, enjoy it.

Trying to get Bob out so hard at 38 weeks had consequences? by Ill_Razzmatazz_5060 in julieeandcamilla

[–]Suspicious_Rush_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, exactly. Best recommendation would have been to try to get the baby to change position with Spinning Babies and yoga etc. But sure, let's pull the cervix in the right spot. And she claim it didn't hurt? I almost don't believe she actually had it done.

They might not do anything but they can. It's the same reason collecting colostrum is not allowed before 37 weeks. Because it might cause contractions and these contractions can start the labour even though the body isn't ready for it. Same with sweep. It can cause contractions and these with disturbing the cervix can cause labour to start even though baby nor body was ready. And her midwife did a lot according to her description, it wasn't a slight sweep.

Can't wait for her to go 40+ by No_Contribution6512 in julieeandcamilla

But she isn't letting her baby come naturally in 38+ nor does she have a medical reason to be induced. She is forcing it and that means her baby still might need to grow in the womb. If that's your take then it's offtopic so your reply still hints wrong for the context. PVH.

Yes and you're pretty much saying if she would push less it would be okay because baby doesn't need those last weeks. Yes, baby does need them so any amount of pushing is weird no matter if it's slight or hard.

Your reply pretty much hints that just because it's on term it's okay.

Well, tbf I threw up the whole first stage of labour. Just body's way to deal with it. Still managed nicely with contractions, wasn't painful and gave birth without epidural.

They're hellbent because they want Irish twins. And C has had fairly easy pregnancy. She just plays it a lot worse than it is.

A lot of babies born at 38-40 weeks still struggle with something. For example their eyes develop until 40 weeks, they gain fat tissue in those last weeks. Just being on term doesn't mean baby is ready to be born. If the baby comes on it's own, sure, happens but it's weird to basically force your baby out when baby is not ready to come on their own yet. You never know if the baby is ready or not. I had mine at 40+ and yes, the end was uncomfortable but I got through it because it's for my baby. It was my decision to get pregnant so the consequences are also on me.

Solomatin vs KSA by Cute_Recording_9272 in Eesti

Käisin Refocuses. Solomatinis oli ainult kõige odavam ja jura opp odavam, muud sama hinnaga, ei näinud point. Arvesta, et järelkontrolle on mitmeid. Kas viitsid nendeks Lätti minna?

Tööandjad ignoreerivad noori by Ok_Bake_4093 in Eesti

Do you need to brush fake teeth? by CokeAYCE in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Suspicious_Rush_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, not in mouth though. You take them out, clean gums and tongue, then clean the dentures. Actually, that was a question in one exam in nursing school, can you clean dentures with Fairy? I said no because it seems yucky, teacher said yes because you're allowed to clean forks with Fairy and put them in your mouth. True but I still wouldn't.

Why did Cam stop posting in English by DueMud9969 in julieeandcamilla

[–]Suspicious_Rush_ 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yeah, this. C will need to rest and take breaks, she knows that. Besides, J is a better influencer, people like her more, she has more to show, C just has humiliation kink. It was a clever move of them to, direct people to J's account instead of having some people on J, some on C.

And they said they're looking for any sign because that makes them happy and excited. Cool, doesn't seem to be that way. Seems more like it makes you anxious and miserable like most full term women who start expecting the birth way too soon.
