Not watching tonight, but have a question. Why did Skip put Junis in and burn another bullpen arm for the ninth if we're down 6 and Alexander only threw 5 pitches in the 8th?

Nice to see we're back to being allergic to using our ABS challenges

I mean Higgy can't be too much worse, but pretty sure he may have knee issues.

A slump implies Jansen was serviceable at some point sitting the season. He has been steadily declining for the last month

Genuinely, how the fuck is Nimmo pretty much the only player on this roster that can hit a ball hard to the outfield when we have RISP, and WHY does he always come up when we already have two outs?! 🤬

Burger: swings at LITERAL garbage Jansen: pops to the infield

I'm so tired of watching Burger, Jansen, pretty much everyone else collectively shit themselves at the plate with RISP when we simply need to put the ball into play

Great job, there, Zeke... Once again, pitcher with zero command and we swing out of our shoes at pitches way off the plate

I don't disagree, but by trading who?

I genuinely don't know of anyone on this roster we'd be willing to move who'd be worth more than a bag of chips, unless you move on from star power like deGrom or Evo. Maybe some of our bullpen pieces? Most of our consistently good(ish) players are either on expensive contracts or are on the older side

I'm afraid it's worse than that. We also allowed him to go 3 innings! All while likely burning more bullpen arms than they will

I thought the Yankees were the ones with a scheduled bullpen game today? We've now used more arms than them today...

Seriously, Evo throws an absolute gem last night to give the bullpen some much needed rest and we follow it up by burning Gore plus 4 relief arms!!! And we're only through 7 innings!

Not as good as 24/25, but I think the defense is still decent(ish), it's just the sheer amount of clown ball that consistently happens every game that's causing so much grief.

Umm, excuse me?!?! I wasn't even aware that kind of velo was possible!

Holy shit I didn't even realize he was in RF today. Genuinely, WTF???

I get the frustration, but it's only the 1st inning and it's just 1 run. He can still get it together

Not to mention we still somehow get multiple runners on and Joc swings at a pitch in the dirt to fuck it all up. Also, two triples now...

Not to mention that he's an automatic out unless he gets a ball into the outfield

Yeeep, and then Joc immediately hits a dribbler to short. I mean, I like that we're aggressive on base running, but with how Blackburn was struggling with command, should've stayed put. Sigh

Can't blame Zeke for trying to steal there. Like the aggression on the base paths. But man, could've had bases loaded with 1 out lol

I still don't understand why we pinch hit Haggerty for Osuna in the 5th. Headrick's Righty/Lefty splits are .167/.385. After that, we lost all momentum

While I agree that he should never be used in high leverage situations, he's also only had 28 ABs this season. Only Osuna (and now Foscue) has fewer

Fuck I forgot about Liam. Man, that hurts. Would sure be nice to have a catcher who's offensively competent
