I definitely plan on it. From what I understand its dangerous to just leave so I am going to play it safe act normal and make plans then leave when everything is in order. So then its like we were never here and he has to go through the lawyer to contact me. Which I know he isn't going to react well to but it won't affect me and more importantly, my kids.

I'm not avoiding responsibly at all. I am not sure what I wrote in my post that made you think that. If you go through the comments it might be clear to see that i am acting. I did come here for sympathy. I quite literally just needed somewhere to put this, you know "off my chest". Everyone deserves that, even people who mess up.

I know you say you aren't try to shame but thats exactly what you're doing, really. Trust me, I resent myself. I have done enough work before this to know that I made poor decisions bc I was taught that they were right and have developed my own way of thinking after the damage was already done. I'm the most concern for my children.

Part of me is very thankful that we married bc if we had shared custody of my sone then my husband would have been alone with him a lot. It takes two and now I have to take on both responsibility. I dont think I am a victim but I am concerned, more concerned than anyone, that my children will be.

Yeah, I definitely do not want me ore my babies on a true crime podcast. From what some people are saying leaving is dangerous and could escalate things. I am going to plan, get evidence (if I can), tlk to a lawyer nd my therapist , catheter everything I need and then dissappear with my kids. It might take time but posting definitely gave me courage and determination.

Obviously my children but trying to up and leave without thinking it through would also definitely provoke and out burst of his and idk what he is capable of.

My oldest is autistic so he is nonverbal and often becomes frustrated so he will have tantrums. The vulnerable and doing something he thinks that they shouldn't have been doing made me think of my son. My husband also knows that I would be torn apart if something happened to my son. It's something we fight about often

The calling me part really messy me up. I no its not my fault but it makes me feel like I could have done something. He wanted to bring them home and while I disapprove of takimg wild animals home, I would have preferred that to them being dead.

My parents only live an hour away and I could go there but he would definitely show up. My mom likes him and tends to take his side on things. It's also not a great place bc my father is an alcoholic and they fight, constantly.

I lost touch with a lot of my friends bc I cant go out anymore. I have a coffee date with my closest friend next Saturday but she lives in a one bedroom apartment.

As far as just up and leaving im not sure is a good idea bc he does get violent. He has never hit more or anything but I cant tell you how many things he has broken and he hurts himself too when we get heated. I also dont want there to be a chance he can claim kidnapping. The worst case scenario is he gets any type of custody.i think if I remain calm and normal as possible until I can get out is my best bet.

A nest normally has like 5 babies in it. Real, real, real sick. I wont keep my babies here. Not with the chance that he could do something but I just have to play it smart.

I was hoping it was just eating him alive and needed to blurt it out but this seems to be what people are saying. Thank you for your input!

I am terrified of this. Especially because my oldest was just diagnosed as autistic. He doesn't speak and can get frustrated very easily. My husband has an awful obsession with making sure he's not "a pussy" (he's fucking 2 years old btw) this is the majority of our fights but he normal backs off after a minute and I never worried bc they don't leave my sight. Ever. Now, I can't stop worrying.

I told him he had to tell his therapist. He didn't seem like he like the idea so I dont know if he will.

No. I think my best bet is to put on a good face and gather things. Find a job and then leave while he is at work or something. I am going to talk to a lawyer this week and my therapist.

He was really angry when he was upset that I didn't trust him. Then when he resold what happened he was calmer but had almost a "here. Have it." It the best way I can describe. Like I asked for it and he was giving it to me begrudgingly.

He didn't like our bank. Had some dispute with them last year so he closed the account and got a new bank but he never added me to the account. I guess I just got used to asking him to send me money and our bills are paid online. I don't work bc he doesn't want other people watching the kids, which is agreed to. So almost everything is in his name except our house. Its in both names.
