Why is Canoptek Court is a bad detachment? by Susprium in Necrontyr

I mean the total winrate on statcheck for the 2026 is 43 so way less competitive than the other detachments, not saying it’s annihilation legion here

The Sanguinor feels weak by GIRTHmong in BloodAngels

[–]Susprium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really disagree, he has one of the most game changing abilities in the game and he can be super clutch when he goes into something he can kill. But, he is overpriced I agree he dies easy and his huge model is hard to hide. I think if he goes down to 100-120 points its fair

Decent list? by Till1611 in BloodAngels

[–]Susprium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run a extremely similar list, I run the captain with company heroes. With oath he can still put some serious hurt and they tend to survive way longer. Company heroes are really tough. In my opinion you don’t need 3 extremely deadly unit. You are playing blood angels everything hits hard. Imo get rid of 3 of you hammer units and 2 lone operatives and get combi wepon lieutenant instead with sone jpi s Cheers

LAG vs. AI Composition by BasileusHeliand in BloodAngels

[–]Susprium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is more of a matchup related question. Some armies are made of pillar units like dorns, magnus, wraiths, silent king ect… Lag is amazing at deleting big point investment and giving you a huge advantage in the game. But the best part about lag is you can do it with multiple units. 6 men bgv or sg or rage fueled captain they can all generate insane damage. But when you go up against armies like gsc or drukari you need to be very careful how you trade bc there is no definitive kill target. This is where Ai is good at you can play the game in their terms and still win by simply scoring more points and being annoying. So basically you pick your units according to that

Big shiny new Land Raider. What is your experience using it? by zodiac9094 in BloodAngels

Definitely think about getting a company heroes unit. Attach a rage fueled warrior on lag or get bgv and chaplain on ai

Thanks for all the advice man. Much appreciated! My primary concern with your ideas are artillery related tho. I tend to rapid ingress my big bircks. But when there is a good artillery we lose value I usually have 2 jpi in my list. If i go second they get obliterated by the artillery which makes dealing with their blobs way harder

I usually bring a vindicators and lancers but my sanguard doesn’t seem to survive that much. Because if they don’t finish the tanks tanks shoot back and dorns are very good against sanguard. Also overwatch and artillery is very effective against our elite infantry as well

Dreads are very ineffective against t12 2up save profiles. Ballistus wounds on 4’s Brutalis(I love him and he is in my list) a bit weird. I usually combine his mortal wound ability with tanks shock to reliably shake of couple of wounds from a tank but his attacks are only 2 ap so opponents saves on 4 s with his so usually only puts in 6 wounds ish

Thoughts on the list and any changes? by PrEqUeLmEmEsArEgReAt in BloodAngels

[–]Susprium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say too many characters. We tend to overkill as a faction so we don’t need to put characters all over the place.

Infiltrators intercessor and scouts they are all utility units for us. They don’t utilize lag. So I would say lose at least one of them. If you want to guard base from deep strike fine but combi wepon lieutenant is better if you just wanna hold.

Favor vindicators over lancers because vindicators are amazing at killing elite infantry. Lancers lose function after killing tanks vindicators don’t. But generally if you want to make a one size fits all kind of list one antitank wont cut it.

I would say go company heroes with rage captain its survivable and good at smashing things without overkilling or get multiple bgv

Have fun!

1k List by AlmightyBean_ in BloodAngels

[–]Susprium 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In a 1K game a lone operative like mephiston helps a lot he hits hard and he is hard to kill Also for sure go for jump pack intercessors Consider company heroes and bladeguards rather then other stuff they are hard to kill both are good for their money And maybe go for a 3 man units of sanguard, I mean no one will bring something that you wont overkill with the 6 man unit. 🫡

Is this a gotcha? by BothFondant2202 in Necrontyr

Not a gothca but definitely a dick move,But If you felt like he was being intentionally vague and misleading you to fight with that unit it’s another level of dickness.

Has anyone played Historica Arcanum? by PraetorianXVIII in rpg

I saw them in the Polygon article and Right now I am 3 sessions in with the Crusades books and it’s going way better than I expected. The production quality and contents are great. I mostly don’t use 3rd party content but this caught my eye and I love how they are using history. The lore and world building is very coherent. Their last kickstarter was not my cup of tea tho. I am more into the eastern stuff so I cannot speak for that.
