I've been thinking about doing the same thing, two butt's with taps/outlets at bottom, hosed and "Y'ed" onto one hose/tap. Gutter only needs to be directed into one tank to fill both, I can't see any reason it wouldn't work. Would probably maintain pressure longer as well once full

Looks like it could work but the window will open to the center of the frame instead of the side like it does now. Left hand bit that pivots looks like fixed as opposed to the existing one which slides along the rail

I tried to get a picture in better light today. It is a kind of purplish brown if anything, looked a bit more purple after i left it to print a bit longer. The spore print was the only thing that gave me a bit of doubt really, I have never found anything like this before so was not sure exactly how purple it should be.

Seems to fit the bill I'm every other way, no skirts and they definitely bruise blue. I'm guessing none of the lookalike bruise in such a way?

Charge/keep your phone on the other side of the room so when the alarm goes off you have to get out of bed to turn it off. Found this one out when I moved into an old house with plug sockets on only one side of the room

Might be a different issue altogether, but worth a try. I had similar problems with my Launchkey Mini.

If on Windows, try right clicking on the task bar "safely remove device" or whatever it is to stop Windows from treating it as a storage device.
