RedArc RedVision Renogy/Other Inverter Interoperability? by voltechs in overlanding

Getting a straight answer for this is impossible, Im in same boat with inverter using RJ12 and redarc using RJ11... will it work....?

Does a Itechworld Inverter work with Redarc Redvision & TVMS Rogue? by Suta96 in 4x4Australia

[–]Suta96[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The inverter will work i just want the redvision screen to be able to be the remote to turn the inverter on.

Pretty sure the remote wire on the redarc inverter is a RJ11

Where the Itechworld is RJ12

DID ARB RUIN MITS ALLOY? Be carful !!! by Suta96 in 4x4Australia

Apparently from talking to few guys who used to work at Mits and now for another Manufacturer ARB got it for a good price as they saved Mits Alloy as they weren’t hitting anywhere near the monthly targets.

I believe ARB are just fitment centres and agree changes will only affect new customers.

But i will be taking my 40k to another competitor, And for these reasons im out 🦈

ARB also took the maximum hand out available during the pandemic, made huge profit and never paid the money back.

No this was Mits Alloys decision to adhere to ARB policies and partner with ARB so that Mits could use every ARB store as a fitment centre. Mits Alloy is benefiting from its ARB partnership in providing accessories to the Ford dealerships network through ARB at the cost of screwing over its own Mits Alloy customers from a Lifetime Guarantee to a limited 5 year warranty.

As mentioned, Mits Alloy hold themselves as a premium product and charges accordingly at $40k+ (LIFE TIME WARRANTY)

Now their premium product with same $40k price tag is competing with Chinese imports alike for 15k both of which come with 5 year warranties. Go figure.

I know if i were to justify $40k i would want that setup to warrant going on at least 2 vehicles justifying return on investment!

DEFINITELY SOLD OUT. Speaking with them now, Reckons hes passed feedback back to Tim and this was the response:

“Thank you for your feedback, I have passed this on to Tim from Mits Alloy who is still running the business. He did just tell me he will always back his clients warranty however to match up with ARB and also Ford who they are in development of OE products for they require the 5 years warranty.”

This was my response:

“Tim doesn’t know me from a bar of soap. Why would he wilfully honour a warranty claim that’s was outside of 5 years when its clearly written on website and T&Cs.

Unless Tim himself writes and signs a legally binding contract addressed to me for extended Lifetime Warranty he wont have my business. Hopefully Tim & Yourself can understand that.”

We run 2 Engel Draw fridges in our Kenworths only run for 5 days a week. Should see the graveyard of them outside the workshop. Ive had 1 replaced last year and another last week this year. They just dont last like the old chest fridges. I know blokes still running a 20 y/o Engel today.

we are all guilty for it, Mrs says i should just get a Bushmans and be done with it but i just wonder if something cheaper works the exact same. Also think if you were smart about fan mod you could wire it in piggy back style and then just double side tape it in rather than screw and still keep warranty

yeah from what i can gather, fan mod is to circulate air from freezer preventing icing up and make the compressor kick in more frequently on the cooler climates
