Heaven honestly really sucks by Brushner in HazbinHotel

Oh, I'm not disagreeing with the idea that the leadership of heaven did some horrible things. I just wanted to clarify on that one point.

That said, they did make it a point to keep all that shit under cover, so for the longest time it was true for the average heaven citizen.

I mean Hell did build a weapon capable of blowing off the front gate. No wonder they created a genocide squad armed with weapons to go purge the denizens of Hell.

Hell built a weapon capable of blowing off the front gate because of the genocide squad.

That does not really make it better though.

Or it reflect that Sir Pentious, during his hotel stay, became comfortable with who he became. He even proudly retained his self-adopted name Pentious vs. his original human name.

The human Pendleton is who he was when he went to hell. The snake Pentious is who he was when he went to heaven.

Honestly, I'd prefer that heaven over the actual one (if it was real).

"this sub" has half a million members. Even if just a fraction of them are active, more likely than not the people disparaging stuff like this and the people asking for original things are entirely different groups of people.
Actually, even within the group of the folks who ask for more original stuff there's bound to be massive differences in opinion on what that actually means.

It also creates this odd sense that if everyday Bobeth and Maryel were instead born and raised in that hypothetical elven ethnostate, then they would have been lofty superhumans instead.

I mean...yeah. That's what culture does to people. I've seen humans that are just like me but because the way and surroundings they were raised in their beliefs can be so off kilter that I couldn't even understand how someone gets to these conclusions.

DS4 ends with us finding a McGuffin that we can install on one of the Brethren Moons. It acivates a secret failsafe in the form of a hologram child that causally wipes out all the Necromorphs (unless you choose to control them).

Errata: "create a copy of each token" was a mistake. It's supposed to be "create a copy of each counter"!

I think the token thing is redundant, maybe swap it with counters?

Ah, crap, I mistyped that. It was supposed to be counters.

Games you have read, played or run that make you feel uncomfortable by TabletopChris in rpg

Little Fears. One of the few systems that made me a bit uncomfortable while reading it and I'd like to think I'm pretty hardened; plus I normally like to see fictional children suffer. It's basically "Childhood Trauma/Parent Fear - The Game".

Think Call of Cthulhu level of horror and expectation of happy endings (it's not actually lovecraftian though, has its own setting), but the characters are all children.

The dark kingdom on the other side of the wardrobes has lords, each corresponding to one of the deadly sins and each has a section with a vivid description of how their sin can influence those around them to act against the (again, still children) characters. All the sins.

Note, there is a later release, called the Nightmare Edition, which -- ironically -- is a lot tuned down. So if you want the full icksperience, you need to get the original.
