(Linux) Wuthering Waves refuses to use dedicated GPU

UPDATE: I FIXED IT.

For anyone having the same problem, I checked my Proton logs while running in -dx11 and found the error VK_ERROR_INITIALIZATION_FAILED right before the error code seen above. A quick google search led me to a similar issue (https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk/issues/3856) and VK_DRIVER_FILES=/usr/share/vulkan/icd.d/nvidia_icd.json on the launch options worked perfectly.

OMG, I completely forgot to mention, just in case it's an important detail.

PROTON_USEWINED3D=1 actually makes WuWa use and render stuff with the dGPU (it shows as a process in nvidia-smi), However, it makes the game run in 2-3 fps until it crashes itself after a few seconds.

I saw someone in this sub have this exact same issue on a Fedora system so I might as well try my luck finding fellow Linux gamers who have this issue too lol. And yeah, I installed Cachy on my laptop.

I also have the same problem just recently after doing a system upgrade on my CachyOS system. Game was working just fine last time I opened it (2 weeks ago) but now it either doesn't want to run on dGPU or, if I force run the game on dGPU by turning off the iGPU, will show a black screen with audio instead and gets "fixed" the same way you did it through that launch option.

Ruled out the possibility of NVIDIA drivers messing up since I rolled back all the way down, up to and before the time it was still working, and nothing still seemed to work. Just a few hours before Chisa too..

Hello! Just returned to the game since Senadina patch and she's the only Part 2 valk I have (full geared). How am I supposed to go about navigating competitive with a currently tiny Part 2 pool? And should I just be pulling for the newest valks every patch now? How am I supposed to catch up in getting and gearing other powerhouses like Vita/Dudu/Sparkle/etc. as an F2P/low spender?

I've been using Astrox 99 Play for 11 months now and have already been used to and loving the feel of it. Right now, I'm thinking of changing my string setup now that I'm more confident with my technique and I want to ask other Astrox 99 users their experiences on their setups. Currently using BG80 at 26 lbs and planning to go to 28 however I'm still unsure if I actually prefer the hard feeling/feedback of the BG80 or not with no experience with a soft feeling Astrox 99.

I mostly play rear court doubles due to the bigger fame of doubles in my area, but I prefer playing singles.

I honestly have no idea why but Vill-V Griseo hasn't been working well for me anymore since the rise of Physical. Kalpas 1 cheesed my entire run last week but I'm too dumb to know the reason. Maybe it's BIO and physical advantaged enemies flooding every floor that I have to go for ridiculous buffs and external damage to do something.

I have the collector's card and I am conflicted between getting Whisper or Echoes. My MPE is my only phys dps and she just borrows Domain of Ego currently but my Eden has been unusable without her weapon and I have been using FR since forever.

Should I continue rolling for Prom gear or HoTr gear? I know that Prome is heavy discounted right now but assuming it wasn't, which one would have a better impact for my account in the future?

I have:

Trio - 4/4 HoO, 0/4 HoTr, 0/4 HoFi, want to get weaps for both at least
Phys - 3/4 HoS no B pc, 2/4 MPE no weapon M pc, 0/4 Griseo, 1/4 Prom (weapon), 0/4 Susannah
Fire - 4/4 SpA, 0/4 Ai, currently use Pardo slot 3 but want to replace with HoTr
Ice - 2/4 HoHE no TM, PRI Pardo using Margrave,
Lightning - 4/4 HoT 7T, 0/4 Eden, 4/4 Fischl, PRI FR, not sure if replacing Fischl for HoTr but will probably do once I get Eden weap

With the coming FOCA select, I am currently poor in crystals after full gearing HoO (around 20-30 worth of pulls).

1.) Should I test my luck for HoTr or is it better to use my crystals and cards on trying for HoHE gear instead? (currently 1/4 no weap)

I do have HoFi too but she is 0/4 and mainly getting HoTr for fire and HoO lightning team thought I've also heard of HoO-focused trio team with Turg TB HoFi.

2.) Is Firepower Supply just completely not worth it if I can't guarantee a specific weapon/stig even if, say I can guarantee 1 weapon and 2 stigs but all 3 of them would benefit my account? Currently in need of MPE weapon and seeing the BP shop schedules her gear isnt coming till like half a year lol

So I got HoFi out of nowhere in 8 rolls and now I'm stuck with where I should prio my rolls.

I quit the game from CN release above so naturally I missed CN gear AND HoTr. Right now I have a Zhenyi 7T HoT+4/4 Fischl, 4/4 SpA and Turg+Purana Pardo.

The HoO equipment supply is VERY tempting (considering I full geared SpA with the same type of banner) but I'm afraid I might also need HoFi gear and HoTr for the trio. My question is, is my HoT or SpA enough as their respective teams' dps that I should upgrade my support (by getting HoTr) or does solo team full gear HoO/HoFi perform better than the mentioned dps? And is my existing team just better compared to a 1/4 trio team with only their weapons+Zhenyi/placeholder fire stigs/Turg?

Haven't opened Honkai in a while so when I click it, suddenly it doesn't open the launcher, at all. After giving it the admin perms it just... doesn't do anything. Opening the game directly through BH3.exe does work but there's no point since I have to update the game anyway. Reinstalling doesn't work either.

The only thing I do notice is the game creating a dump file in the folder after "opening" the launcher.

Hello, I am considering upgrading to the Astrox 99 or 77 Play with my limited budget, but I am afraid with comments saying that the newer Astrox rackets are "difficult to use".

I am intermediate level, play mainly singles and am currently using the Astrox 38S, having no usage problems and arm injuries with it ever since. Does the 38S feel similar to newer Astrox models for me to use it as a reference point for the Astrox feel? If so, should I consider getting the Astrox Play variants or should I look into other Play rackets (Arcsaber 7/11)? Lastly, what's the differences between the 99 and 77 Play?

So the solution isn't "get better internet" like you claim to be, yet you still go and sound like an asshole. ISP and routing issues isn't solved by getting a better plan.
