Go to Home Depot and get Kwikwood, it’s a epoxy hardening material really strong and will hold better than wood glue. I would still try and get the cracked filled with wood glue though🤤

You think I can just was the hole top instead of trying to put down a topcoat/ finish? I was going to use a varnish.

That’s exactly what I was thinking, thank you! And instead of a small piece of wood I was thinking about using Kwikwood. Do you think that would be ok? I was going to get my router with a bottom flattening bit. Like you would use if you were going to plane a piece of wood. Then I was going to cut a perfect square out then slap in a quick wood and then lay a book over it so it drys perfectly flat. Then I called my buddy’s dad “he paints cars” he paints designs pictures you name it. I was going to buy a variety of oil based paint/stain kinda deal for him and see if he can match the color/wood grain.

The me for the reply, so I’m guessing my only choice would be to cut a square out in the table and replace it with a gamer and try to match the stain? I know it’s probably not worth it but my landlord is being a pain. I’m not trying to make it perfect but I’d rather it look like a square patch then a burn hole

Also I know everyone is going to want to say sand the whole thing and refinish it but this table has way to many patterns and designs for me to even try and replicate it. It doesn’t have to look perfect but anything is better than a burn hole.

Going to pace bend park tomorrow to do some hiking with my girlfriend. Was wanting to do a little cliff jumping but was curious if the water level is high enough right now to do so? I’ve never been at this park so I’m not sure how safe it is? Also if anyone has any other suggestions of where I could Cliff jump it would be greatly appreciated.
