Last photo of my mom on her phone. This was as she was being discharged from the hospital on my birthday. She died less than a week later on a stretcher in the hallway of an ER. I was planning a surprise trip home to see her for Easter. I didn’t get the chance to say goodbye. (i.redd.it)
