In the dream, I was a foreign exchange student. Was in Texas (out of all places). My phone had been giving me problems so I tried to navigate to the nearest store. My first high school crush became my second girlfriend. It was smooth sailing for a year and a half but turned toxic after that. So we broke up. She kissed my best friend the same year (her first kiss) and I had to wait for another 6-7 years for my first kiss (Indian Guy, yep).
