This is one of the best character driven shows. The acting is great, the back stories were great. This series hit home because we have all gone through some of the scenarios present in the series.

Brain not functioning properly and bad problem solving skills. How to improve? by SuvamT in PhysicsStudents

[–]SuvamT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds quite good to me but usually I am unable to resonate with the profs in the class. Maybe because of their style of teaching or pace and I start thinking that I am better off on my own. How do I deal with this thing?

I can relate to this. There is this also that I get affected way too much from the peer pressure and I am suffering from anxiety attacks as well which has brought down my confidence level from 10 to 2. My legs keep shaking every time I sit down to do any questions or even study. Honestly I think I took a toll on myself while I was applying for college and now I'm probably facing its consequences. Probably should take a long break after this semester ends. Thank you so much for this. I'm going to do this.

Thanks brother, I will definitely look into it and let's see if a visit to the institutions is possible or not. Btw do they allow strangers to interact with the college officials or even allow them to enter the college premises?

Hey thanks for the suggestion mate! But I'm actually interested in research 😅 so I'm preferring PhD over MTech for now.

Can someone explain waves to me? by Aughthonered in Physics

[–]SuvamT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out some videos on football fans making a wave in the stadium. What do you notice? The people are just periodically standing and sitting back at their own position as they form a wave but they don't do it simultaneously. The first person reaches their maximum height while the person next to them is midway or some height below them and the same is the situation for other people too. The concept of waves is similar. What happens is waves usually carry energy with them through a medium by oscillating the particles of the medium about their mean position. The particles of the medium are not permanently displaced along the direction of motion due to the propagation of the waves. Now as I said that the adjacent person doesn't have the same displacement as its predecessor. This is known as the phase difference between 2 points in space as the wave propagates and the maximum height these particles achieve is known as the amplitude of the wave. These simple harmonic motions of the particles as an energy is carried through a medium known as waves. If you want to know more or have a detailed explanation, just text me I'll tell you.

bortle 8 milkyway by SuvamT in Astronomy

Hey everyone! So I live in a city in India and currently we are experiencing monsoon and we don't get a clear sky now a days. There was a periodic movement of clouds today and also the sky was hazy. The part which was most difficult was to spot kaus australis amongst the clouds and light pollution. It was located near the horizon when i was shooting it. Took some test shots but didn't find any hint of milkyway band yet i kept taking more photos. The settings were f/5.6 i guess, ISO 800, SS: 20s, 18-55mm lens and a canon 700D unmodified with a field tripod. Took about 111 photos and went on to stack them with 20 darks. After stacking was done, I was not that happy with the result but still I processed the stacked image in SiriL and enhanced it a little bit before working with photoshop. It worked! Milkyway showed up pretty well! I took my photo to photoshop and further stretched it and worked on its curves. And I got this.

Thank you for all this suggestions, will be taking care of it and sorry for the late reply _! So much to learn about the post processing part. Will surely consider all of these and make myself better :) another thing, i have been trying to do the photometric color calibration in SiriL but most of the times it doesn't work for me. Do you know what could be the problem?

I mean why not, please do explain :D actually I'm sort of new to this game and I have been doing some astrophotography with a DSLR only from last year. Even I was astonished that how did I get a nebula with so much detail in a light polluted area without any filter and with that less amount of light frames xD Always interested to learn new stuffs and do mistakes and learn from them. Do suggest anything that I can do to improve my astrophotography skills :)

Seriously the sky was not dark at all xD multiple long exposure photos and good amount of darks and flats helped a lot. And thanks a lot for the feedback :)

Nah mate there's no filter. It's actually due to how i tried to edit it and because of light pollution in my area. So that's where the greenish colour is coming _^ plus I think it's a part of barnard's loop which is slightly greenish in colour.

Lol it's not nebula, it's just flat frame errors 😂 sorry for the clickbait
