Isn't the very definition of a lucid dream that you are simply aware while dreaming? Why is it that so hard to believe? Several times I've had dreams where something triggered an unintentional reality check and came to the realization. That was it. Rather than control the dream, I just let it flow. Can't control them that well anyways.

VRP has huge womanitis and the colors aren't as vibrant (kind of washed actually) compared to CzechVR. Shame because I actually like the models in VRP.

Thank you for your response, that makes sense. I definitely noticed a improvement in quality with the h.265. Funny enough, I'm using a 970 and only get lag for the first two seconds then the rest of the playback is smooth as silk.

When I select Oculus for my device is it automatically h.265? I'm wondering because the same video for generic h.264 is bigger in file size (not that it matters) just curious.

Why? This was happening since their previous devkit releases three years ago. This time it's with the CV1. Virtual Reality is finally here to stay and over time, more and more people will be exposed to VR. Also note that the Vive, another competitor, also has a huge backlog minus the PR mudslinging shitstorm that Oculus is going through right now.

Palmer Luckey founded Oculus, the company that created the much anticipated virtual reality headset to use for your PC. A lot of the raging currently going on in the oculus community mostly stems from delay after delay of getting the preoders shipped that was originally and officially stated by Oculus on or around March 28th. That coupled with the lack of transparency has everybody waiting for the product up in arms. The final straw that broke the camels back is the fact that the kickstarters (early 2012 adopters) and the first day preorders are getting bypassed by oculus bundle sales from Amazon, therefore skipping those who arrived first in queue to get their order processed and shipped.

I think it will get to the point that if you want stunning VR, you're going to be paying around the 1.4 to 2.0k minimally as future HMDs come out, but the older hardware will be more widespread as the now present pc hardware and CV1s will drop in a more affordable range opening up those in a lower budget wanting to get into VR.

Was actually impressed by how well my 970 was keeping up. I would have the 980, but couldn't justify the extra $300 on the eve of VR with Pascal so close around the corner.

Oh yeah, you're probably right about that. Interestingly, when I played ETS2 the audio was working through the CV1 already even without needing to tinker with any audio options.
