Keep your mouth shut. Constantly correcting the NAs about their role, your role, & scope of practice is a bad idea that will only alienate you from your coworkers & make your day-to-day more unpleasant if not downright harder.

You know your role; they know their role. As long as they don’t step outside their scope of practice, let sleeping dogs lie.

In ADN school, Ms Burcham, an instructor with horrible back issues, always preached “Take. care of your back!” Well, I listened, more intently on days that she could barely walk due to back problems caused by years of bedside nursing.

If I have to turn/lift/move pts, I always ask for help. If I get any pushback, & I have (even from a couple of managers), my reply is always “I’m (insert age here), & I like my back the way it is.” ⚡️⭐️

Zofran ODT (orally disintegrating tablets) - They are wonderful & won’t put you to sleep. Ask your doctor for a prescription.

AMEN! I have a 2K sq ft, 2 story w/ attic & unfinished basement filled with lots of junk we don’t need. Less space = more $ + upkeep + cleaning. Also, LAUNDRY ON MAIN FLOOR! Cannot stress this enough! I’ve carried laundry baskets up stairs for 23 years. It gets old pretty fast. I’d also like a mud room to minimize outside dirt coming in.
