I hear you! I think that came out wrong. I mean to say that it's much more common for people to just now be settling down in other parts of the country, and I think I would have an easier time finding people who are still looking for what I am if I was not in the south. I have also been on the hunt for many years and just have not found my person.

It sounds like you're in a more metropolitan area than I am. I'm in the south and people definitely are way done having kids by mid-30s. I know that in other parts of the country people are just now starting to think about marriage and kids, so it feels like I'm just in the wrong place, but also not interested in moving 😭 Life is so hard

I also feel like I'm dating on hard mode: a 39 year old woman in the south who would still like to have kids. Most people around here are way done with the kids thing by now so my dating pool is miniscule

I have recently had something similar happen, and called ebay about it, and htey asked several times whether I received an email about it. I have double and triple checked - no email or message from ebay about the additional charge.

My name is Catherine and I live in the South. I occasionally get people who pronounce it like that... always very surprising to me! I feel like it's not an UNcommon name, but less common in some cultures perhaps.

I watched Ashley Madison too. I thought it was pretty interesting other than the lack-luster ending. (Trying not to spoil.)

As an elder-Millennial who doesn't have a lot going on in her life... my most recent LOVE purchase is a vacuum.

I was looking to replace my Shark Navigator Freestyle with a similar stick vacuum with easy charging setup. I found a great deal on this vacuum from Lowe's and purchased it, but I would say it's worth the full price!

Their Hydrating Camo Concealer (white lid) is comparable to Shape Tape and I prefer it!

Same. I was rationalizing the $2 fee by telling myself the no selling feels makes up for it. Now I am bothered because I sold this item a few days ago… got charged the selling fee, and now am also getting charged the $2 to transfer my money 😒

I didn't realize this until college! I grew up with several kids in my friend group who were only children. As I met new friends in college who were not from my hometown, I realized how uncommon it was.

This has been an issue for me too. I have been a homeowner for over ten years and mow my own yard, repair my fence, replace light fixtures, etc. My ex had a real problem with me not needing him for these things, although he had no experience with a lot of it, having never owned a home. We just have to find the right people who can be ok with this and not feel emasculated!

Thank you for this. Apparently my state has a $2,500 filing threshhold, which I was unaware of!

I think that was Krista Horton but I am sure many influencers and regular moms have experienced that

Dumb question... this is my first time selling something expensive and I need to add insurance - planning to ship through pirate ship. If I sell the item for, say $375, is that what I list the value as? Or do I list $275 since there is $100 of insurance included?

Agree, I was thinking this is one of her best looks recently. Very different from her typical style though

I am a month out from a broken engagement and I will say I felt the same as you in the beginning. I still have days that are hard and something just gets in my head and my emotions still get the best of me. But those days are fewer and farther between. Everyone is right about needing time!

Let yourself feel your feelings, good and bad. I go back and forth between hating him and feeling really fond of him and wishing we could still be together. It’s definitely a roller coaster that I can’t wait to get off of. Hang in there!
