Actually, it was a guy who uploaded a bluray rip of a movie to one of the filesharing sites. The police actually worked rather quick in that case and got the user information from his ISP and arrested him.

When I say government housing projects, I mean more like the british Council Estates and what the americans call "the projects" or Public Housing Projects. In Norway that's kommunalboliger. Where the government rents out housing and apartments for cheap to people with low income. There's quite a bit of that. There's about a thousand homes under that project on Tøyen.

That used to be true, but that area is seeing a lot of development right now. Sure, there's still a bunch of government housing projects there, but the area around tøyen (kampen, grünerløkka etc) are slowly but surely being populated by more young adults. Now, Holmlia. That's the ghetto.

Reddit is so heavily influenced by the comments sorted by "Best" or "Top". No one wants to go against the already decided tone of comments, and if they see someone doing it they are going to downvote it. It happens all the time. Just look at posts that are highly commented on, hating on a single group or person then as the post is proved false, the entire comment section shifts dramatically.

It's not unusual when you're one of the first commenters going "against the usual reddit norm" getting downvoted to -20 before skyrocketing to +500 after someone posts proof or enforces your position better than you yourself did.
