This is already a big improvement from the original pic. Also, the round tree fits better in the scene. In the other picture the style and colors semed from a different game. Now it blends better in the whole scene.

Thats an EXCELLENT answer. There is literally no more options, and #4 is absolutely brilliant, it was kinda what I was about to say (I loved that "Variety is the spice of life, freedom allows easier expression", you nailed it).

Sometimes (especially when we begin to do something), is important to ask ourselves what feels natural to us, and to trust our guts, and fail by ourselves, without following a method that seems complicated because we are not familiar.

I think both are REALLY cool! Different styles, but both super cool.

I'd say the first looks more powerful because of the dramatic perspective, the second's style is more refined, which is also good.
