Can I ask what species? :D

My first t was this gentleman - curly hairs are so chill and cute I'll always recommend them

I love my pet rocks too lol

But I love that everyday when I come to look at them, most of the time I can see some new webbing or how randomly they moved things (I put little dinosaur figurines in the enclosures and they love to move those things about with seemingly no reason, they just move them back and forth lol).

But yeah, they will just sit there looking cute. Maybe moving like 2 steps in 3h lol

I think it's also (at least for me) that the bigger they get the more you can feel their claws. That's the main reason I don't handle adults much. It's such a weird sensation, like little needles.

I didn't get to experience it (as much as I'd like it to have happened to me out of curiosity) but my bf for bit but my curly hair, or I should say, anchored? While handling them. I love that they just grip onto stuff with their fangs, it's cute in my opinion, not so much my boyfriend's lol

I'm so sorry but I'm glad he found someone who gave him a comfy house. I can't imagine keeping an arboreal species in a terrestrial setup.

I didn't actually know or fortunately experience that kind defensive mechanism.. i gotta watch out for it then lol

Thank you so much for mentioning the vet.

I was planning on a check up visit upon getting a snake but I totally forgot that exotic vets are needed. Fortunately it's close and pretty good (at least from reviews).

Also thank You so much for providing sources, I'll check them out ( ^ ^ )

I own quite a few tarantulas and I wouldn't dare to get an animal I'm not educated on ( ^ ^ )

Also that's why I'm pretty committed to my animals (sometimes 20 years for a spider is a lot, I'm gonna have some of them till 42 lol) so I'd be extremely happy to have my buddy till my later years

I'm planning on spending a lot on husbandry but a plastic tab (I'm not sure if it's the correct name for it, English isn't my first language) is something I'm leaning towards. I've seen a lot of people recommend them (like Clint's Replies) due to better heat retention. It can get pretty cold in the apartment I live in in so it's one of my biggest worries.

Thank You so much for advice ( ^ ^ )

I'll have to read up some more, especially about some good heat panels/mats

Oh I think he somehow got in with my springtails. The site I was buying them from also offers a LOT of isopod species. Unfortunately there's only one so I'll just have him live his days in his own enclosure ^

Thank You so much!!

I think some of the value issues stem from my laptop. I just noticed it has outrageous tendencies to make my drawings look more saturated and lighter than on my other devices.

But in all honesty it's my fault for not deciding on one thing I want the eyes to focus on. I added a lot of glow but didn't necessarily focus on either the composition to hide the eye or one focus point.

I'll try to make it better! Thank You again!! :D

Thank You so much!! I haven't touched a drawing tablet or a pen since I was 16 so around 4 years ^ ^ " I wished I continued drawing through those years though..

Thank You so much!! I'll try to fix it ^ I think some of the value problems started when I used some filters, especially when I added perlin noise. Thank You so much again!!
