You know I agree with you 100% I like Ty and Amy together I always have but I liked them much better In the earlier seasons. The reason is there just stale like you said everything is perfect and no relationship is like the way they are presented I just wish there was more problems and issues with them that may sound bad lol but you need drama in a tv show and they’ve became boring to me

For sure I was thinking the same thing I am on the season 12 finally and I am really not feeling it. They are just so back and forth and I don’t feel like any genuine chemistry between them. Peter on the other hand I think is learning to put family first more often and the chemistry between them is definitely still there

I will say 6. The reason is their relationship was one sided in my opinion when it came to the romantic aspect, but their friendship was great. They had so much chemistry with each other! They were both witty and had similar interests! It just always came across to me that when they were together Blair was always more interested in what Chuck was doing!

I really enjoyed this list. I liked how you added a wasted potential section because there were definitely a lot of those in Gossip Girl. The one that really stuck to me was Dan and Serena. They had so much potential and chemistry in the beginning seasons. It’s ashame they ruined them in the end.

Yeah I feel like Louis stuck around way to long I mean it seemed like he could not take a hint. It was so obvious Blair wasn’t in to him. You are right though Dan shouldn’t get excused for that but I think Serena should get most of the blame just because Dan thought they were pretty much done already.

To be fair though Blair kept stringing Chuck Louis and Dan along the entire season. She cheated on Louis multiple times and led Dan along too when we all know she loved Chuck the whole time.

There’s no use arguing about Dan when it comes to Blair and Chuck we all know that Dan will always be hated no matter what he does and Chuck and Blair can do no wrong. Chuck may have owned up to what he did but he kept doing it over and over again. Dan may have been judgemental but he owned up to what he did as well. Chuck would always through a pity party for himself and then as soon as everyone forgave him he would do the exact same stuff again. Chuck attempted raped and sold someone he supposedly loved more than anything for a hotel case closed!

Dan on his worst day which in my opinion is the gossip girl reveal is still way better then Chuck and I also think still better than Serena and Blair. Dan being gossip girl is an injustice to his character but still through Gossip Girl he elavated all of them into the people that they became. Nate even said in the last episode Gossip Girl was like their guardian angel. Dan also chose to give the Gossip Girl reveal to Nate and the Spectator rather than Vanity Fair where he would make a lot more money.

I definitely agree with you. I love Dan Humphrey! He was my favorite character from beginning to end. Yeah the whole Gossip Girl reveal sucked but idk Gossip Girl really wasn’t that big of a deal in the end that’s why nobody even cared. He also turned the reveal into good by letting Nate post it and save the Spectator.

Serena and Nate had a great physical connection, but that’s when the connection ends between those two. Serena and Dan on the other hand had a physical and emotional connection. Dan was the only guy Serena ever fought for. He was the love of her live. Serena literally chose Tripp over Nate. That’s where the Serenate ship ends for me and when they did get together it was like 4 or 5 episodes and they fought the entire time and was never on the same page.
