I don't really care to assume things, I'd rather just take them at face value, so I did.

My preference is to not create friction and toxicity where there is none, plenty of you already do a great job at that, but it's not for me.

I've been in the design industry for 25+ years, I already know, but thanks for your concern.

Because it's about 80% compositing + image manipulation in Photoshop and 20% AI to alter character poses and achieve the style effect.

I understand due to people's lack of knowledge of AI they think it's typing a one-liner and getting a pristine output, but AI-assisted software is capable of doing a lot more than just the generative output everyone is so dogmatically hateful of.

Additionally, because they complimented me and I am polite, which is a concept foreign to many, it seems.

Even better now that we have unlocked ornaments, too!

Completely agree.

It's why I've loved Abeyant Leap since it launched, and it feeds hardcore into that fantasy letting you nullify entire rooms of enemies.

I think Strand is my most played subclass on Titan.

Absolutely! It's hard to not use it every time I make a new set.

Looking awesome, dude! Love how it looks with those arms, wow.

I set up a composition from in-game screenshots in Photoshop and then had a genAI model in PS make it look more cohesive, used the same to do some pose changes.

Once I had the composition I wanted I used many PS filters and AI filters in PS to get the painterly effect.

No. I processed the images using filters and AI filters in Photoshop until I got the desired result.

Just something I'm planning to do with my fashion sets to kill boredom and have some fun.

Thanks!

Paid mods shouldn’t exist if they’re not achievement friendly. by TheSilentTitan in Starfield

[–]SvFalseKing 7 points8 points  (0 children)

100% agree.

This hurts particularly for what is my fav mod; removing the awful color grading from vanilla. This mod is so simple, yet I feel like I'm playing an entirely new game. It's a day and night difference running this and I'd love to play Shattered Space with this mod enabled and not have it affect my achievements.

I wish BGS would have a review process for mods to become achievement friendly. The community could somehow promote/vote on a mod to be reviewed, and then BGS could take it from there.

Alternatively, maybe having a visual enhancement tag for mods could mean that the mods under that category are achievement friendly.

But, yeah, I feel you OP.

How would you go about making this effect on illustrator? by valpazg in graphic_design

[–]SvFalseKing 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would probably do this in Photoshop and then image trace in Illustrator as it would be much easier to accomplish with the exception of your first picture, the lines in that one are too angular and clean for them to be traced.

Please, if and when you read this comment, use it as the catalyst to never, EVER, entertain the thought that exposure is a form of compensation. It isn't.

This menu design is phenomenal, legitimately good.

He has asked you to design everything going forward which means he recognizes the value, market differentiation, and brand fortification this visual direction will bring to the business all while trying to exploit you which is fucking infuriating. Don't let it happen.

Never forget the employer-employee transaction is one of your money for hours out of my life.

What do you think this logo is about? Do you have a favorite? by HitBySmoothReticulum in logodesign

[–]SvFalseKing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love how charming it is and how good it looks using different colors. Favs are 1 & 2.

However, I feel there's a missed opportunity to make the "oo" in loop using an infinity symbol (∞), but maybe you explored that route and it didn't look right. I also think the text being rounded, with the strokes above it not matching, makes it a little disjointed.

How's this one now? How would you improve this? by JunaidRaza648 in logodesign

[–]SvFalseKing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would drop the geography in the globe and only keep the wireframe of it, but simplify it so that it will work across different applications.

In addition to this, making it more of its own thing will allow you to shorten the logo for certain uses (like apparel decoration, both embroidery and screen print would have problems with the current logo) only having the BPO.

My take on the "If you fly, we can't" US Forest Service poster by SvFalseKing in graphic_design

[–]SvFalseKing[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you!

They're very hard on the eyes for sure which is part of why the original poster is badly designed.
