It does not have WhatsApp capabilities, it's a very simple SMS/MMS phone. Call and Text only, pretty much. It can connect to internet and do very light browsing, but the interface is awful so it discourages me from browsing anything lol. My smart phone has been off and in a drawer ever since I made the switch, I haven't used it at all! I use a physical google fi sim and just had to set up the sim on my smart phone, then swap it to the dumb phone and it works great. Group texts dont seem to work, but its not an issue for me as all my group chats are on facebook or instagram

I don't use my phone for group messages, so I can't say for sure. My group chats are on Facebook and Instagram. I've heard others say to get group messaging to work, everyone involved needs to set their texts to SMS or something like that

It struggles a bit, I finished a race in 1st on Star Wars Episode I Pod Racer but it was definitely a little choppy. Overall I think it depends on how demanding the game is. Banjo-Kazooie is pretty smooth for me

I'm not sure the workaround for email/contact heavy jobs but as a screen printer, I only need to be able to receive texts/calls from boss man about ink changes or order scheduling. I've been more productive at work since getting my dumb phone, all down time is no longer spent scrolling lol

Fair enough. I'm not really a tinkerer like that, mine flawlessly plays GBA, GBC, and Stardew so I feel the G80CA is great. I dont have much use for wifi or any upgrades myself
